Retribution Issues... I can live with (workaround & hope CCP fixes/changes) Oversize targeting reticules No controls on sound settings to silence annoying sound effects Inventory controls like rubber navigating through syrup Too much agro on drones (I'm losing ISK buying drones & had to go back to lvl 2's from 3's)
BUT , since patch the extra demand on system resources has made it impractical to multibox any more & this was after CCP encouraged me to do so. (Dell I3 4 gig 1gig vid) Also , having WANTED slapped on my portrait by unknown people for no good reason is NOT ON
Therefore ... I am in the process of closing 2 of my 3 accounts & will leave EVE entirely unless these 2 major issues are addressed.
In the end I PAY TO PLAY EVE so I'm the one who decides HOW I PLAY not CCP or griefers eh ? I've been playing for about 9 months and love the game. o/ |

Sometimes when I go to open cargo on a wreak it tells me i'm too close although I'm on top of it. I close the inventory window and then again click Open cargo. This fixes it.

First i told him that i had this issue in earlier patch as well and i could handle it easily. Yesterday i took this anomaly with my beloved Paladin with best possible skills on it. When the 4th wave came in i took battles ahead like i normally do. And OMG!!! I couldnt even take out that first tagged battleship!!! Whatta hell is going on!? So i thought that they eventually stop it and waited and waited...NO! Ships indicator tells me that theres none of Tracking Distruption going on, but there is! I had to ask my brother to help me out and i havent ever needed any help with this Anomaly, so now i had. This is BULLSHIT!
If u guys need more money for more games to develope, TELL US STRAIGHT!!! Dont make game unplayable with some cheap means like this distinct issue is. First you tryed fix this money issue with rising PLEX prices like hell! It didnt work, cause it was rather easy make 1,2B ISK (i got 2 accos) with just doing this Sanhsa Forsaken Hub Anomaly in 0.0 security. So you made this then! IT WORKS!!! Moneymaking is difficult. Its too damn difficult for me.
I believe that i quit this beautifull game, cause you guys in CCP became greedy! You loose this matter. I tell you. We are the power and we make this game work. NOT YOU!!! Ok, after a week of playing I've found these issues:
- wormhole shrinking & collapsing animations and sounds have disappeared - engaging a wormhole results in an NPC logoff timer (no comments :D )
- storing a ship in SMA in pos (thus becoming a pod) results in the dreaded steel door -explosion sound
- the new explosion aka steel door seems to behave weirdly in relation to distance, it always sounds like it's right in your ear
- solar system map updates poorly when warping with tactical overlay (choppy movement) - solar system map (still, old issue) prevents from world sounds from updating correctly (world sounds present in the last location persists when map is opened until it's closed)
- overall performance is a bit worse, running multiple clients results in more heat than before patch (Nvidia) - drones seem to react slower to commands, and like modules simply don't react at all
- safety defaults to "on" for some reason? Please change it to default to "off"

I set skills training last night after putting implants in, started queue again (was training the new sensor compensation skills up) i wake this morning and found my queue inactive, the first sensor compensation skill completed after i logged at around 22:30 but it seems the following skill did not start training meaning i lost about 7hrs of training time.
I've petitioned it and by moving a different skill into the queue got it started again, but as soon as i put a sensor compensation one in it refuses top restart training, |

New containers do not have any info on structure hp. The old Giant Secure Containers have 500,000 structure points so take a bit to pop. the new containers do not show structure points in the show info.
Does this mean they can be insta poped by frigates like the jetcans can? Being able to jetison freight containers from freighters and use them in space in a nice feture, but if they have no structure points they can be destroyed by grievers in free noob ships.
Is this an oversight? Or are they intended to be so fragile? |

The forsaken 'Klong', and it's still in effect in the 1.0.5 patch. The thing is, it's plays correctly based on range AND it plays again a moment later at max volume.... and when you dump a can, etc etc....

Sorry not bothered to read 58 pages of issues to see if this has been posted before.
I just logged in with my character in Umokka X - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Testing Facilities. Stopped my training, exited my ship and jumped to my PVE clone (that I think was based in Fricoure VIII - Moon 2 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant).
Anyway I after jumping (yes it did jump - the countdown restarted at 24 hours and I am now in my PVE clone) I found myself still in the same station. It does not seem to have killed my other clone which it now says is also in the same station!
I didn't have the same issue yesterday |

I'm having issues with target locks.
Since the Retribution my locks often fail to complete for an unknown reason. The locking sequence starts, my modules are flashing ready to activate, then the locking just stops.
I've noticed this usually happens when either I exit warp, or my target is just exiting a warp. At first your lock just fails normally (due to target still being in warp), but then it starts counting down as you would expect, but silently fails.
Example from logs:
[ 2012.12.13 18:37:09 ] (notify) Interference from the warp you are doing is preventing your sensors from getting a target lock on Thrasher.
This message is completely normal and excpected.
[ 2012.12.13 18:37:12 ] (notify) Your attempt to target Thrasher failed.
But this second message isn't. I've never gotten this before. I'm doing a lot of solo PvP, and the 4-5 second delay brought about by this issue is often lethal for me. Either you miss getting a scram and web on, or you are simple out-dps'ed because the hostile has a 1500 dps lead on you.

I finally ran my first Level 4 Mission since release last week, and there are a few issues.
First of all, I ran a fairly easy Level 4 (Pirate Invasion) and still took just about the least amount of damage I have ever received in a mission. I'm not complaining, but my fit is the same as always, and the difference was noticeable. I'm not sure if this was intended or not.
Second, drones are getting too much agro from NPC's. I had to leave the site 3 times to grab replacement Large Drones (Praetor's specifically). The Mission consumed 7 of them. Pulling them back after damage has begun is useless. This may be great for Drone manufacturer's, but has made a tedious grind even more time-consuming and tedious-er.
Third, the SOUND. OMG. That high pitched 'beep' is uninformative, distracting, and uselss. Please take it away. And the ship explosion sound, which soulds more like a large hangar door slamming shut, is also used when a salvaged wreck container is looted and it pops. Same sound. And it's a bad innapropriate sound. Really really weird.

Im now getting log in issues, something I've never had before. 99% of the time I now get a status: Unknown reading on the log in screen which means I cant log in. attempting any way tells me I might not be connected to the net or some setting is wrong.
Now, I had an older client (6 months ago) and decided to come back to the game. I updated the client and was able to log in once... then I got this error then on, even just logging out back to the log in screen to change character and suddenly the status switches to unknown.
After dealing with this problem for 24 hours, attempting to check my internet settings etc... I cant find anything wrong. Just incase, I cleared cache, reset setting on the client etc and nothing has helped. Its strange because the patcher shows that the status is online. I even went to my firewall to double check the exe is allowed through which it is.
So getting annoyed and assuming the patch went buggy I just uninstalled eve and downloaded the newest installer to see if a clean install would work.
Same problem, I was able to log in once then trying to switch character, Im now hit with status unknown and am unable to log in.... I just renewed two accounts and swapped a character from one to another, if I cant even log in, then it will all have been a waste of money.
Any fix? |

You fixed TD but it seems you haven't checked other ECMs. Did Serpentis Assault (lucky me - after full aggro fix) and was unlucky enough to get 8 permanent sensor dampeners (77km lock range > ~10-12km, ~30 sec to lock battleship on a Machariel). Afaik NPCs apply unscripted variant of SD which means maximum of 62% reduction in lock range/resolution should be applied instead of 85% that i got there: i used 8 unscripted T2 SDs from all5 Lachesis to emulate this situation/effect in EFT. 74% with 8 unscripted T2 SDs from rigged all5 Lachesis with perfect Proteus fleet booster. |

Ran WC last night for the first time since Retribution. Was looking forward to a challenge with entire room attacking at once, but that didn't happen. As a matter of fact, with the exception of the initial argo, no-one else attacked me at all until I shot at their ship (not group, ship) first. By the time They returned fire they were down to hull. Their group mates ignored me until I attacked each ship. My passive shield tank never dropped below 97%. Like shooting Galante in their sleep. Entertaining, but not much challenge.
I don't know if the AI is still being tweaked or not, but just wanted to let y'all know that something heinky was going on in that mission. Will run it again tonight and see if the same thing happens or if was a random quirk. |

When trying to use the Agent Finder while inspace I noticed that after a jump through a stargate the window would reset to page 1 no matter what page you were on. Very frustration browsing while traveling. |

I double click on the wreck cargos around me hoping they will all appear in the first window's index tree, but all I get is a bunch of separate windows each of them with an expanded index tree.
At first (post-retribution), when I opened several containers at once, they were all showing up in the first window's index tree. Nice. Then I decided to check out the other behavior so I collapsed the index tree and opened some containers. They now open up in separate windows. Cool. I liked the tree thing better so I open a container, expand the index tree then open other containers but now they wont go back to the index tree.
I'm not sure if this is a bug. It might be that I'm just missing a checkbox setting or something or simply misunderstanding the dev blog. |

I agree,CCP: I suppose that IF the bounties on the npc's were raised overall to match the difficulty then this change would simply introduce a possibillity to face bigger challanges than before and get rewarded for your effort, but without either looking over the current situation or raising the bounties then you are really telling players that you dont want them to do missions anymore.
Also, current state makes me regret all the time I spent on drone warfare skills. Which also is kind of bad, noone should have to regret time spent on a game.
Aside from these complaints , you have made an awesome game.

For some reason neutral logistic used by our war targets in HighSec (proved, by video feed if needed):
- can not be attacked from our side.
- not indicated by any tag in overview .
Please advice: In which section we must file a petition then we notice it again ?
I'm sure they are using other assist modules from neutral pilots but it is not so easy to notice & prove. |
