Thank you Zirfian for this utility!
I'm also finding that Ore prices are not automatically downloaded.
Thank you again for writing this utility. |

First off, I want to say thank you for a great application. It has helped a budding manufacturer figure our so much.
I have only 1 thing that I find myself repeatedly doing in IPH and that is setting custom prices, especially for raw materials. I would love to see a feature added to make it easier to set custom prices globally as opposed to individually. For example, a spin edit that can set all selected prices by a percentage of whatever was downloaded that day.
Thanks again for a great app :) You should be able to do this by selecting all regions on the price tab? I might not be understanding what you are asking.
HI Zifrian
Let me clarify for you: after downloading prices based on selected options, you can edit an items price in the ListView manually. It would be great to have an option to be able to edit all listed prices by a percentage, instead of having to manually edit all items. This wll help me to mass set discounted prices for corp mates quickly.
Thanks again for a great app. Eric |

I don't know where these numbers came from but for the Armageddon blueprint I'm getting impossible numbers for the cost. I double checked that I had the most recent version and it's still showing some e.g. ~10m trit needed (~4m in reality). |

Is there any way to do a shopping list for *just* invention supplies, based on the number of jobs I want to do?
I can do the opposite for production by ignoring invention, but I don't see a way to just build a straight invention job shopping list.
Just a simple, "I want to do X invention jobs for item ____ II using Y decryptor. Add to shopping list." No but I'll see if I can come up with something.
Migal J wrote:Hi, in blueprint tab, if I try to calculate the profit of a T2 item but I have no price from eve-central for one of it's component; IPH set zero as the price for that component, also if I set build/buy and have prices for the materials to build that component.
Is it possible to have IPH calculate the cost also if there isn't any price and maybe show that the cost cannot be compared.
Thats a known issue I'm working on but yeah, a bit annoying. I hope to get that in the next update.
Badda Benjaminsen wrote:In the Manufacturing List: What is the actual difference between Raw Materials and Build/Buy? I mean with Raw Materials I have to buy all the raw materials for the components and the item right? Which automatically mean I have to build the components myself. Doesn't that make Build/Buy the exact same thing? Or am I missing sumthin here? Btw, thx for a great program Raw mats is if you build every component needed. Build/buy is a comparison of the buy price for the component to the build price. If the buy price is less than the build price, iph will suggest that you buy the item instead of building. Most times there is no difference but there are times when you can buy a few items cheaper.
Revinance Rycon wrote:Great program i got one problem
For some reason it doesnt import the price of the material: Shattered Villard wheel. I imported everything except that. Hmm, that's weird. EVE central is where I get the prices so for this item, there might not be any prices uploaded outside of the major trade hubs. I can't check it right now but try to import the price from jita and see if it's still blank. If it still doesn't work, I'll take a look but you can manually update the price in the update prices tab or the manual update from the Edit menu.

Ahh ok, yeah that's on the list. I know what you are saying and something I've wanted to add for a bit. Not sure I can get it done in the next update though so might be a bit. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

Can someone clarify me just a couple of things I still don't understand? First off, items built at a constant loss. I've been checking (for instance) 1200mm Arties and Sleipnirs for quite a while now, through the manufacturing list, and they always seem to be unprofitable to build. I can accept that kind of output for items which can be purchased massively via buy orders but...... 1200mm Arties? Sleipnirs? I suspect I'm doing something wrong there.
The second thing is the SVR index, always in the Manu List. If I'm not wrong, it shows the volumes of that item being sold in the Hub you selected via the import prices (guess so at least), so it should depend merely on the item, not on the decryptor used to build it. But I see instead different values for each of the decryptors you are comparing. So, how are those values of the SVR weighted or how shell I interpret them?
Thanks in advance |

Thanks in advance Sleipnirs probably won't be profitable. It's a low use / high skill ship. Plus, if I remember right, there are a number of T2 BPO owners of command ships that fill the market. I don't remember seeing any of them making a profit for some time.
T2 1200 arties, I'm not sure but probably the same issue.
As for the SVR, that's the sales to volume ratio, not just the volumes sold. It calculates the number of items you could realistically make in a day, then divides the volume sold in a day with it. If the number is small, then you could fill the daily volume needs of your market. If it is less than one, then there is more supply then demand. So if you use a different decryptor, you could make more items a day and thus change the SVR value.
If it is blank, that means no one opened up the history of the item in a while, which is what EMD needs to calculate the history.
Hope that helps. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

I was trying to use the Manufacturing List to see what my usual list of blueprints was going to net me. I open the program, update my prices, go to Manufacturing List, and click "Calculate". I had 0 lines and 0 labs as you can see in the screen shot.
- Everything is updated - Windows 7 x64 - Tried running as admin - Tried different combinations of selections within IPH and I still crash
EDIT-------
I just put in my 10 lines and 10 labs and it worked. Seems like that was the issue. When you asked about that in your response it spurred me to try it. Thanks a ton :] |

Another suggestion:
When you want invention+manufacturing, you can mark your t1 bpos as owned. At the manufacturing tab you filter items with load: all blueprints Your owned blueprints are highlighted with color, thats very nice, because you can see what blueprint you got already.
The problem is that you dont own any t2 blueprint, because you invent it from t1 blueprint (what you own). For this purpose you got an option "Include Owned: T2 invented" if thats checked, you can list t2 invented items, based on what t1 bpo you own. (you select only Tech: Tech 2 modules). But that t2 invented list, not flagged as owned, and dont get the nice color highlight. Then unowned and owned items are mixed.
If you set manually owned all t2 items you want, then the invent options dont work, because the ME PE values are based on what is in the blueprint database. I dont suggest to set t2 bpc-s owned in blueprint database, because its an invention product what you use in manufacturing then it disappears. And if you manage blueprints with api scan, you dont get it, only t1 bpo versions.
What is needed: When you own a t1 bpo, and you select Include Owned: T2 invented, and filter only t2 modules, with all blueprints, you need to get color highlight to t2 modules, based on what t1 bpo you owned. That would help in that what blueprint you already got in the list.
Simple conclusion: In manufacturing tab, when you own a t1 bpo, and if you can invent it, you need color highlight for t2 bpc version too, just with like owned flag.

Sadly I found a little bug with usage costs:
Case A: Using 1 BPC 1 Line 1 Run --> correct usage (ingame values differ somewhat but are very near) Case B: Using 1 BPC 1 Line 10 Runs --> correct usage (ingame values differ somewhat but are very near) Case C: Using 10 BPC 10 Line 10 Run --> same result as CASE A but should be 10 times Case A
EDIT Case D: Using 10 BPC 1 Line 10 Runs --> Correct Usage
So my guess is that it has something to do how lines are used in the calculation. |

I'm using the manage blueprint settings to backup and load but it doesn't bring the me or pe during the load or the owned or not selection. Is there any other way to do that?
I was also wondering where the account and preference from the character are stored I can"t find where they usually are.

Edit: I found another usage, for highlight. When you api scan your storage and set your owned t2 pbc-s to blueprint database as owned, you can filter what blueprints in stock, and what blueprints need to invent to manufacture. Because of this, the new highlight color need to be different for possible invention based on what t1 blueprint you own.
Highlight color 1 : owned blueprint Highlight color 2 : T2 blueprint for possible invention based on what t1 blueprint you own It's on the list. Shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks in advance This isn't available yet and I went back and forth on whether to allow BPs to be stored for the user and for the character. I might revisit this when I look at the BP management but that's a bit off. I also don't want to hose up people's BP storage so I need to work this one slowly.

hey Zifrian, what about adding one lil tab to your awesome tool and giving us all a mineral compression tool? :)
here's just a couple of ideas such a tool should provide. I'm sure IPH is already able to pull those informations out of the BPOs and the items db since for instance in the shopping list volumes are shown and I'm sure you'll find many other ways to combine those numbers in a useful manner, but a complete tool dedicated to compression is still missing.
Thanks. |

I just note here: Avast antivirus got False Positive Report( Win32:Evo-gen(susp) ) to Updater.exe, and put that to Quarantine. Needed to Switch off, for update.

Not sure if already reported:
But for me the invention success monitor is buggy when trying to set a date.
Whenever I try to set it to today it goes back to 28/02/2012. |

Every now and again a virus scanner will throw an error. I'm not sure why. It might be that the program updated itself? I'll have to look into some information to see if I can fix that. Although, "fixing" sounds like it shouldn't be something you could do. I'll see what I find though. Thanks

Whenever I try to set it to today it goes back to 28/02/2012. Yeah it was reported. I just need to fix the main program and I have a bunch of stuff not done that I can't update it quickly. I'll get it fixed next update.Kiara Cesaille wrote:Getting the following error when trying to import my api key, since the update.
link OK thanks, I haven't seen this before so I'll have to work on it a bit. GÇ£Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do. GÇ¥ - Dale Carnegie

It worked fine before the program update, now it throws me that error, even if I try to import a brand new api-key :(
