Without a nos / neut range bonus the pilgrim is required to close into at best overloaded web range. If webbed it dies. And owing to its weapon systems it will get webbed. Tank it and fight bulldog style, it still works

Hawk is a superior salvage ship for belt rats, especial kin therm damage rats. 4 salvagers and a tractor, ample cargo. And the ability to tank any spawn when youre cleaning the belts after a bout of ratting.
