1. Eve Crashing on Start - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Ok I spent sometime going through all the folders and in the Bin folder found Eve.exe double clicked and the game loaded up!!! I'm no tech guy butI'm guessing the problem with the patch was moving folders around. Hope it works for you guys

Just done another full install, still no joy. As for thrid party applications effecting the running, I don't understand why pre-patch it wouldn't be a problem but after it is. Surely its a problem with the eve client not our PC's.

Yep same problem here with Vista 32 bit. I've updated graphics and sound drivers, reinstalled DirectX and even tried stroking the monitors nothing works!!!

Subchaos if you are trying to use the killboard stats to formulate some sort of pvp break down for empire war, then theres no point. Because the killboards never tell the whole story. For exmaple JUNTA had alot more than 268 members when the war...
