1. What do Ammattars fly? - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Do they use exclusively Amarr hulls or Minmatar hulls? Or mix and match to personal taste? I think it makes more sense if they fly Minmatar hulls, give them more of a "Roman-aligned Barbarians" flavor.

2. So i was looking through the chronicles and I found this... - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Who would be dumb enough to crew a capsuleer vessel? That means every time Jimmy gets ganked, 15,000 people die No one needs a job that badly.

3. Amarrians = Arabs? - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
I think its purposely ambiguous. Each person would view the factions through the lens of their own cultural background. Amarr/Minmatar could be : Egypt/Israelites Rome/Germanic tribes Byzantine Empire/Arabs Ottoman Empire/Armenians Persian Emp...

4. Regarding Amarr empire and their story - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Same as any Empire. First you go around gobbling up your neighbors. Then the other powers become concerned and team up to bring you down.

6. The Value of ISK? - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
To me it feels like 1 to 1 basis with USD or any reasonably valued currency. 30k for an executioner, thats like buying an entry-level Lexus or something. I would imagine a menial worker planetside would earn about 8-10 isk per hour ($8-$10 an h...

8. (ooc) Does slavery exist within the Republic? - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Are there parts of the Republic where Minmatar enslave each other? Has anybody read any lore regarding this? I haven't read any lore but some of my agents say they have a "meeting with a Minmatar warlord." Warlords usually have slaves and hare...

9. Random Thoughts (ooc) - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Does ganja exist in the Eve universe? Do people smoke herb? How bout cigars? Are Sebiestors human? Why is their head so big? Are Nefantar a seperate race? Do they look different from Brutors, Sebiestors and Verokhiors? The way I see it, Ammat...

10. Mimmatar Culture: The ordinary day on Pator - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Well the empires are not really trying to represent ethnic groups or nationalities, they are trying to represent cultures. Minmatar is Tribal culture. Could apply to Germanic tribes, African tribes, American-Indian tribes, Jewish Tribes etc. Th...

11. Mimmatar Culture: The ordinary day on Pator - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Tribal gatherings would prolly be the same as they are in tribal cultures, they get together, have some ceremonial food, tribal chanting, the witch doctor says a few words followed by food and celebration and dancing, then everybody takes the par...

12. Why I have trouble taking Amarr RP seriously - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Originally by: Kostantin Mort Anyway, hope you enjoyed my view of the Amarr religion. Good stuff. Where are the Eulurians and Udorians mentioned? Pretty sure I had read everything in the backstory section.

13. Why I have trouble taking Amarr RP seriously - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Bootlickers become bootlickers to avoid combat. They choose to become someone else's b*tch to be insulated from hostilities. How can you be a combatant AND a bootlicker at the same time?

14. Why I have trouble taking Amarr RP seriously - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
To me the Ammatar seem like...cunning underhanded Minmatar. If a huge empire is about to take over your country, %80 of the population will be of the "Fight to the Death" mentality. The other %20 would wet their finger, put it up in the air to s...

15. Why I have trouble taking Amarr RP seriously - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
The problem I have with Amarr RP is that they treat other races like second-class citizens, that includes the Ammatars. Unfortunately the way the Empire is roleplayed, it feels more like the Third Reich than Rome. The way *I* envision the Empir...
