blasters on any frigate just seem to be a waste to me due to the fact that your opposition, assuming both lobes of their brain are intact, will easily be able to manage distance such that your weapon effectiveness will be dramatically reduced.

shield tanks, like ravens, are for the really rich people like me. Kinda slucks if you're not me though because then you cannot afford a decent shield booster, nor a nice little shield amp, or especially those keen little 61% hardeners :)
