Edited by: FastLearner on 02/03/2008 00:59:17 Originally by: Kwint Sommer This is an interesting move. If you really believe the shares nolonger have value I would have expected you to divest yourself of them before announcing that. Qu...

42. FRPB in default - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Marcus Baltar Hmm, haven't we been here before ( late FRPB dividend ) but it was paid in the end, and just a couple of days late. However, I too would like a little more communication from Ionia. No, last time it wa...

43. FRPB in default - in Market Discussions [original thread]
In fairness I should be clear that this is in no way claim by me that Ionia is scamming. It's simply a statement that if someone chooses not to be active here AND opts to not pay dividends on time then Fury Bank is going to treat their shares/bond...

44. FRPB in default - in Market Discussions [original thread]
FRPB dividend is now overdue. IF the bond-issuer were regularly active here then thatwouldn't be a big deal. But Ionia hasn't exactly shownsigns of life for months. With immediate effect, FRPB is considered a junk-bond by Fury Bank and is no lon...

45. Dynasty Banking - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Having made 2 lengthly posts about Fury Bank, I should redress the balance and make one about the OP's bank. The first thing is that there's definitely room for at least one more credible bank around: but you need to be careful where you try to p...

46. Dynasty Banking - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Your comments show more bias when describing expansion plans. EBank is described as "cautionary" while Fury is described as "Limited to FL's ability to make money". In practice our approaches are very similar: we restrict what deposits we allow b...

50. ICHEM Bond Auction - 1.5bn - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: FastLearner on 20/02/2008 19:32:21 Not sure which of you is correct. OP says "Coupon (Interest): 10% per month (paid at 5% every 2 weeks)." Which is ambiguous - as it could be 5% per 2 weeks or it could be 10% per month. What % y...

51. GTC secrue trade with expired account? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Yes, you can buy a GTC by secure method for an expired account - I've done it a few times. Just make sure to transfer the necessary ISK to the character (on the expired account) and then ask for the GTC to be contracted to them.

53. ICHEM Bond Auction - 1.5bn - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I think some people have missed the whole point of what the OP is doing - i.e. those bidding less than 1m per share. He's not trying to give away bonds as cheaply as possible, he's trying to raise as much ISK as he can. There's one HUGE point whi...

54. Commodity Investment IPO - in Market Discussions [original thread]
There seems to be some confusion over whether this is a Bond/Loan or an IPO/managed fund. The thread title says it's an IPO - but it appears to be offering to pay out a fixed rate of return (which is a bond-like behaviour). Now, of itself, a fixe...

60. Official Statement: Resignation from EBank BoD - in Market Discussions [original thread]
