1. [ISSO] Returning Capital - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Why are ISSO jacking it in? Simple: they're ****** off with all the constant *****ing at them on this forum. They've tried their hardest to make a massive IPO work for the Eve community, they've not done too badly considering the hell that ISS has...

2. [ISSO] Buy back order on RESX - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Damn. So much for my plan of buying them all cheap when the hate caused the share price to crash Nice to see ISSO keeping in touch with things on this forum though. Keep up the good work.

3. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Or we're keeping this thread alive simply because we're getting fed up with people trying to trash the share price in an investment that we value quite highly. Who remembers the Eve Central Bank fiasco?

4. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Shadarle I said they should do all that if they actually want to restore any credibility in their business. Obviously if they have no desire to restore credibility then they should continue on their current path... tho that...

5. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Sorry, not ignoring the question, just in no position to answer it - we don't know! Btw, I can only find that one rather out dated post by Serenity Steele saying that he'd put buy orders up on EGSE once ISSO was listed. I've not found any referenc...

6. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
The only reference I can find is in This thread by Serenity Steele (who has long since left ISS). It doesn't actually explicitly say it in the IPO agreement (same goes for buy backs now that I look at it again )

7. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
As has been mentioned by someone already, the amount of isk spent to date or actual cash in the bank is immaterial. The declared value is the key because that is what ISS will base the 5% for dividends on. They've declared their value as greater t...

8. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Call me a thicky, butI don't follow you. If ISS say their total value is (abitrary number here) 50bill, then guaranteed dividend payouts each month are 5% of 50bill. If they devalued the whole pot in one go, we'd only get 5% of (say) 25bill for ev...

9. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Ok I understand what you mean. Next question though: given that the 5% dividend is guaranteed, and assuming that overall profits in any one month do not exceed 10% as the 6-10% goes to ISS, do we not benefit from ISSO having a higher value because...

Originally by: Zachariah Ombiby So, what you're saying is that you've decided to NOT sell shares that no one wants to buy? Brilliant strategy. Are you a Johnny RooRoo alt? Er, no not quite. My apologies, I though it was pretty clear....

11. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Save that if they declared all losses in one month and paid dividends out of capital, then they'd have less to invest and we'd lose out in the long run. Ignoring the argument as to whether they should have had T2 BPO in the first place, those thi...

12. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
They won't be able to sell any more shares and the trading price of current shares will fall as people try to offload them. So while not technically losing investors, the market value of the shares will fall (assuming of course that there is a tra...

15. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Friznit on 06/09/2007 09:02:10 I'm not going to comment on tin foil hattery or these supposed "loan defaulters". All these rumours serves to do is rock shareholder confidence more than anything ISS has ever done and that's bad for m...

16. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Well presumably those 'shopping baskets' are largely T2 items for trade for a good profit in 0.0 stations which I'm sure was the original intent. At the time, it made very good market sense. However, no doubt like a lot of large scale traders, ISS...

18. [ISSO] August report - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I'm pretty happy with my ISS shares investment. Of all the shares I own it is probably one of the most reliable payouts - not the biggest or the best, but it's reliable. I couldn't give a hoot whether it should be doing 10% or more, cos frankly I'...
