Well in all honesty, if you bring a blob, I don't see why you would expect anything short of massive lag fests. That said, Eve does need a core rewrite to deal with all of this, the current fixes to it unfortunately only puts patches on a tumor....

Why not just pull the rougher straw, give him back his stuff, and then simply go separate ways? It would strengthens the image of WI and relieve Kelmac here of a lot of angst. After that you never have to hear from each other again.
