I guess you got a point about limiting the types of ships to dock at stations, but then you would still need much bigger ones for battleships. I know there is a big difference between cruisers and battlships, but I still think they should be bigger.

This isn't possible because getting from one system to another requires you to 'zone' into that system, which is what happens when you use a warp gate, so unless you zoned from one system to the other in mid warp, it wouldn't work.

This defies the game lore. When the ship warps, the nav computer locks onto a large celestial object (i.e. a planet or station). It would also have issues with gameplay which I'm too tired to explain
