if you're doing the whole wh thing the tengu is just a plain better chooice imo. Fast to train (offensive subsystem to 5, defensive to 4 and the rest at 3 is a decent balance if you don't wanna spend much time at it)

Eve is risk vs reward, there's few more risk free activities, remove it completly and you're just not playing the same game everyone else is. Lost a third of my net worth in ships pvp'ing last month and had a blast.
