Update. So Comcast believes that a bot got attached to he-1-7-0-0-cr01.sanjose.ca.ibone.comcast.net (68.86.90.153) 23.523 ms 27.496 ms 28.677 ms (My traceroute ended there as well) They will work on that issue and clear it up asap (so they said).
