1. The Price of Tritanium - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Funny thing is, about a year ago when shuttles were "decoupled" from trit prices, trit prices rose for a while to well over 4. There were predictions in the forums here about trit going to 6. Price and economic predictions in EVE are just about a...

2. Making money with trading - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Kimi on 22/07/2009 19:14:32 Originally by: Akita T What you're trying to do is not trading, it's almost entirely just hauling. A "pure" trader never really has to leave the station he's trading in. Unless you are tradin...

3. Thank you Undercutters - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: Shar Tegral You presume they didn't make 100+% of what they intended to make. Just because you found 1.2 billion more on the table doesn't mean they lost anything. You presume their costs and thus assume a few things. [/jus...

4. Mega mineralcost - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I have seen it as high as 20,000. Until the asteroid spawns get fixed not likely it will do anything but go up.

5. Market depth and bredth - in Market Discussions [original thread]
The current setup is kind of a mess. A while back a similar question was asked of the Devs, and as I recall the suggestion was to use the trade channel. Problem is, the trade channel is a total disaster - I have seen as many as 600 people in tha...

6. What's happening to the price of Mega??? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
"Do a strike ! That would be fun.." We have It simply is not worth mining for mega at this point because of all the time it takes, and the buy price is way too high now for what little is available. So at this point we are neither mining, b...

7. BUYING MINERALS - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Since when is the market price for Trit 1.5+? We have over 30 million trit on hand, and buy millions each day - and we have never paid more than 1 ISK.

8. Is it just me or are the new Limited BPC destroying the Market - in Market Discussions [original thread]
The most common "blame point" seems to be BP copies, but in fact there are several factors at work that are probably more important. The current NPC prices provide an artificial floor, on which most pricing is based - why build stuff when you ca...

9. What's happening to the price of Mega??? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
"This would actually reward the ones who are willing to make the dangerous journeys to get it then...." Actually it does not. They might get more for the mineral, but they have to spend 2x or more the amount of time to mine, refine, and sell it.

10. What's happening to the price of Mega??? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I did some exploring, and it is VERY hard to find any of the Mega/Zyd ores anywhere near a station in any quantity. IMO, this all goes back to CCP's nerf of the ores when then took all the higher level ores out of any but 0.0 space. Their idea w...

11. What's happening to the price of Mega??? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I think the real problem is that people are not mining it as much. I have no way to confirm it, but it seems like there is less on the market at ANY price.

Sheesh - I guess I am selling in the wrong places. Just dumped 500k nocx for 172 and was happy to get rid of it.

13. So why is trit not worth 2 isk yet? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I really cannot imagine why anyone would pay more than 1 for it. All you have to do is set up a few buys for veld and trit in a few systems, and you get all you can carry and more.

14. tax rates - in Market Discussions [original thread]
The tax on any sale in a station is .35% regardless of any other factors. The station owner gets that.

15. Dammit (pissed off with idiots on trade) - in Market Discussions [original thread]
I got around a lot of this problem by putting up buy prices at our factory/sales stations for about 20% under the recycle/build cost. It is amazing how much stuff you can buy below what you can sell the minerals for. I don't think any of us ar...

16. Dammit (pissed off with idiots on trade) - in Market Discussions [original thread]

17. WTS: 3200 units of Megacyte and 5000 units of Zydrine - in Market Discussions [original thread]
You are way too high on the Zyd. The going price in most places is around 1050 to 1250. We don't need any right now, as we just purchased 25000 at 1027.

18. WTS - Moas in the forge - Only 750K + BYOM - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Quite true. We still make Moa and other ships, but a large part of it is simply to try and get some money out of the minerals such as nocx and mexallon that normally sell FAR below NPC prices. If we can get NPC mineral cost + about 10% we feel we ...

19. Buy orders, and who gets the order first? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
What Xylor says is pretty much correct. It works backwards. It should fill the NEAREST, then the OLDEST orders first. It does not. Even some kind of splitting allocation would be better than the current system.

20. Blowout BYOM Cruiser Deals -- Highway System - in Market Discussions [original thread]
