1. The new forums - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I get a feeling that the one who chose this forum for CCP got fired and the new one in place wants to leave his mark by choosing a new forum. Politics.

2. Slicer or Comet? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I try my best to avoid long posts because it accomplishes hardly anything. People don't read long posts. I see that you meant hookbill which changes things. If I were you, I'd use the hookbill for one simple reason: It has got far more meds.

Really depends on your play style. One's brawler and another is kite/sniper.

5. Noob questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yes, "null" space is 0.0 and below where every structure there is built by players (with few exceptions). Trying to take in everything at once is a common mistake new players make. They get overwhelmed and generally quit. Subbing for 3 months and...

7. Why do i miss certain mission rats? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yes, you could annoy a player in battleship in a frigate by orbiting fast but he would most likely have a web and drones. 10k optimal would mean 0k to 10km. 5k falloff would mean 10.1km to 15km. You have a chance to do 100% damage within optima...

8. Why do i miss certain mission rats? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Max optimal would be 10km in my example. Falloff is when gun's ammo loses its effectiveness by 50%. You will still have a chance to hit but at reduced damage. Fighting in falloff is also an option if you can't really hit it at max optimal. Fallo...

9. Why do i miss certain mission rats? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yup, you got the basic principle. Since you use lasers, you can switch crystals without any delay. So, use radio M to shoot down fast approaching frigates and when they are too close, switch to better damage crystals and orbit at max optimal. A ...

10. Why do i miss certain mission rats? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You may need more drone skills. Those frigates are pain in you-know-where to take down for newer players. Those frigates typically web and scram you in level 4. As for your afterburner question, for cruiser class ships, speed is your primary tan...

11. Why do i miss certain mission rats? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Certain frigates in missions orbit you at high speed and has low signature to boot. This makes it very hard to hit with medium guns. The magic is having a web. And some of them may be "elites" with T2 resists. You either need a web or have light...

12. Yet annother "Rising Plex-Prices" Thread - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
In my eyes, plex price is too low. It has been too low for too many into thinking that plexing should be the primary method of continuing omega status.

Plex is real money though. If CCP continues to inject plex, that's throwing money away. Might as well make the game F2P and close it down in few years.

14. Yet annother "Rising Plex-Prices" Thread - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I say let it be. It will eventually balance itself. 20 USD for 1.5ish billion is too little. Expect it to go up and up until it hits 5b for 500 plex.

15. Noob questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Low sec is the wild west. It's uncontrolled place where anyone you see nearby is like someone who wants to kill you. Null sec is outlawed space but claimed by players and therefore far more secure. Living in low sec is generally not recommended ...

16. dev response needed: what is actually being done to lower plex price - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
There is no way supply will exceed demand. Almost every newbie thread have plexing their account as one of their goals. More and more people want to plex their account because it is considered to be free. So, it's only logical that plex price go...

18. Advice to a new player? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Eve is sandbox. You do whatever you want. That's pretty much all you need. Let me tell you how I began though. I began in 2003 and started out as a low sec miner. Since the game was new, there was no gankers. Everyone was busy amassing wealth. I...
