1. MIssions used to be fun... - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Originally by: Slithereen Edited by: Slithereen on 15/12/2004 03:06:13 I have no desire to spend *hours* finishing a mission, watching the clock timer goes by as your batleship moves 100km to each freaking gate. By the way, I use a ba...

5. 'Pirate Extravaganza' ---> Where are level 3 missions leading to? - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
My one experience with the L3 version of Pirate Extravaganza went as follows: Warp (in Armageddon with light tank setup) to beaacon, enter gate #1. Notice a few bad guys, pick nearest group, eliminate. Repeat once more, all NPC's are now toast. ...

9. Ship loadout affecting missions offered. - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
I actually had an agent compliment me on my ship-- Since I'd just bought a Crusader, I was somewhat startled. Haven't seen anything that would make me think there's a solid correlation between ship type and mission, though. --Krendig

11. Cash bonus, cash bonus, cash bonus.... - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
I think the agents get a limited number of bonuses they can hand out in any time period. The more heavily used agents seem more susceptible to repeating missions and the "cash only" rewards. When the agents start handing out bonuses that look li...

15. Level 3 Agent gives "The Blockade" mission with cruisers - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
I tend to run L3 agent missions in an Armageddon because I'm lazy, and cheap. The 'geddon can handle all eventualities, and doesn't use ammo. The Moa uses ammo like crazy, and occasionally has problems with multi-Inferno spawns, so I'd rather take...

I used a Moa with 4x 250mm rails (AM ammo), 2 smartbombs, a thermal hardener, and a med. shield booster. Came in at "optimal" range, unloaded with all 4 railguns, and used the smartbombs to knock down "most" of the cruise missiles, and the harden...
