1. What kind of corp should I join? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well, I've found a corp that seemsto suit my needs enough. It's an industrial corp in highsec but surrounded by lowsec with weekly roams so no lack of PvP either. Thanks everybody for your advice!

3. What kind of corp should I join? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The isolated life of the NPC corp is starting to bore me. I'm actively looking for a corp, but they all seem to specialize in some domain of the game, and I'm unsure of what I want from a corp. I'm a month old player, and up until now I've mainly...

5. Making money as a noob. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
To add to the trading advice, speaking from my limited experience, I'd very much rather have a lower margin but a higher volume of goods than the opposite. Something that gives you a 300% profit margin is relatively worthless if you can only sell ...

6. Just can't find anything to do - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Eve rewards people who do their own thing. It rewards proactivity and originality. Doing what everybody else is doing only results in competition. You really need to forget the standard MMO mindset if you want to succeed in this game. I am a fai...

7. Making money as a noob. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nice story. I'll definitely agree with you about the buy/sell orders thing, but it's mostly a matter of valuing your time. If it takes me 2 hours before somebody completes my buy offer for 100k isk less, it isn't worth it. I'm also a fairly new ...

8. What are you doing to make your ISK? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hub trading for me, with some station trading and speculation on the side. I check my offers once every 5-30 minutes, and I usually make one round trip to all of the major hubs a day, sometimes two if I have a lot of time on my hands. I also mad...

9. contract thieves - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Then maybe next time consider researching (read: clicking on "View market details") your stuff so you post an adequate collateral. If I saw a courier contract with 24m collateral with 100m worth of ships, I would take it too.

10. Is it possible to trade while being in FW? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'm a (relatively new) trader but I also want to try out PvP, and FW seems like the easiest way to do it. But is it viable to trade while in FW? I hear enemy empires will attack you if you go into their territory which could make my trade routes d...

11. Trading, where to go now? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yeah, I double-check everything before making a purchase, although I'm thinking of making a second character just to sit on a trade hub so I can reliably check prices.

12. Trading, where to go now? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
So soon after making my account I knew that I wanted to trade for a living. I tried to station trade for a while but the profit margins were pretty low and on the better items there was too much competition. I was only making a few million isk per...
