Thank you for all your comments. I plan to top off the core skills to lvl 5, start training to fly and use a thanatos carrier properly before I ever sit in one and save up to buy the carrier. I wont try to fly one until my skills are reasonable. ...

I had a simular problem which was due to the drivers supplied by ati being unstable. If you too have an ati graphics card this may be the cause. I fixed it by buying a Geoforce card and I will never be buying an ati card while they have such bad s...
