1. 10/10 Plex, 1 Torp did 583k Damage, killed my golem - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Midnighter on 13/11/2008 15:30:37 We used to walk the Sansha plex using a super tanked and remote repped Munnin as the bait. The kinetic torp would take it down to 5% armour from full shield, but the 2 minute launch time meant we w...

In brief: Prot = Prototype (Prototype Cloaking Device II) Scan Probe Launchers are fitted with Probes. They come in various types and can be found on the market. Batteries increase max capacitor. Warping uses capacitor. More capacitor = longer ...

4. Your favourite ships - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
1. Malediction - small, sleek, spiky, fast and violent. 2. Sacrilege - this ship is messed up and should not exist. Fantastic resists, lots of lows and uses HAMs. This was born to be nanoed up. 3. Typhoon - What can it not do? Adaptability i...

5. Munnin or Vagabond? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Ona very basic overview yo have two ships that excell in different areas. The Vagabond excells in fast engagements, speed tanking your opponent whilst wearing down his defences. It often has the ability to outrun an enemy in the right hands and o...

7. Tanking a Rupture - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: S******dly Hater Originally by: Midnighter Speed tanking is also possible, but I would often preffer the Stabber in that role. Why? All you get is a bit more of acceleration and speed that won't you a lot of good...

8. Hypothetical Amarr Thread - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Midnighter on 15/01/2008 16:52:55 I wasn't worried others would use lasers, I was more pointing that a long time a go LOTS of people used lasers, so the Amarr bonus was usefull as ship vs ship they had better cap efficiency. Now alm...

9. Tanking a Rupture - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Depends on what you intend to face off against. Classicly resists plus the biggest plate you can fit has been a very strong option and often works well. Speed tanking is also possible, but I would often preffer the Stabber in that role. If you ...

10. Hypothetical Amarr Thread - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Back in the day, it was unfeasable to survive in 0.0 for extended epriods of time unless you had lasers fitted. So lots of people fitted lasers on non Amarr ships and got good damage but crappy cap. The Amarr in comparison had great damage and bet...

11. Rig my Sac.....rilege - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
My Sac has 2x Polycarbs fitted. Main reason is that it makes a very nice nano ship. It's around 3.5-4km/s for me, so it's not as fast as other nano ships, but it has high resists, plenty dps and does not have to worry about tracking. It simply or...

15. 160km BS's - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
For a sniper, you need a lot of mid slots so you can boost range, lock time and tracking to the point where you hit hard and can catch most ships before they warp. This makes the Typhoon and Maelstrom your best choices running 1400mm Artillery. A ...

17. I thought they said they wouldnt do this? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
/signed I have not liked tech2 ammo form the day it was recieved. It needs to be less combat breaking and also less nerfing in some respects. I' like it to be in line with faction ammo, with a couple of small bonuses/negatives.

18. Support Ship [need suggestions] - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Use a command ship. Put in armour rep drones and fit it for remote armour rep, resist boosts and decent damage. He can also absorb a pile of aggro should he pull a spawn accidentally, while preserving your durability as a tanker. It is the win :-)

19. If Amarr is the laser race... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If Amarr used Ladar systems, there is the high possibility of interference from the large range of frequencies of energy emitted by the Lasers. Radar removes that potential. I also thought Target Painters actually used some form of energy wave to...

20. Surely NOS is electronic warefare? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's because Nosferatu/Neuts are not Electronic Warfare, they are Engineering mods and work on a similar but opposite system as shield/cap transfer arrays. It does not disrupt the electornics, operating system or the signal systems of the ship. I...
