I had the reboot problems twice. Both times it happened only in EVE. Fix 1: (Somewhere before shiva arrived) I replaced inexpensive RAM for high quality stuff. Corsair paired RAM rocks my systems now. RAM test programs could not find any problems...

For the better courier missions, my agent usually sends me to the gate camp 7-10 jumps away, instead of sending me through the .3 and .2 systems right around the corner. I don't think this is coincidence since it started with the last big patch.
