61. GAH, the disconnects are back - in Macintosh [original thread]
WTF? I was having random disconnects, then Dominion came out and they completely went away for weeks. Now with this new patch, they're back. Completely random, and half the time the client doesn't even notice. Right now I can type in cor chat but...

62. Is anyone able to run multiple clients? - in Macintosh [original thread]
[Yes, I've gone through all of the steps to create a second client] I don't get crashes, but I get 2 completely unusable Eve clients. Pretty maddening, really. I used to be able to run 3 on this machine, now I can't even run a second one. In Boo...

64. Why isn't this a "known issue"? - in Macintosh [original thread]
Originally by: Eos Canon Not sure what your problem might be, since Dominion I have actually had less problems (Faster log in and no crash on alt+tab) on my MacBook Pro 15". Same here, also on a MBP 15.

67. How to get a solid, clean Dominion client running - in Macintosh [original thread]
I patched and had major issues. Of course, that always happens, so I also DLed the full client in the background. These steps cleaned up everything, and the fresh install is working well for me. No disconnects after idle time, the login is worki...

68. problems with typing in dominion? - in Macintosh [original thread]
For me, typing in the Eve client is fine, but typing in any other window/application is laaaaaged to hell and back. I finished typing that last sentence 20 seconds before it appeared on the screen.

69. Extremely long login times on mac client - in Macintosh [original thread]
Well, login times in Dominion are improved, but damn, I'm getting some crazy hangups randomly, and just because the Eve client is running, typing this in Firefox is lagged to hell.

70. Monitor IP addresses of clients constantly trying to log in during DT - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
When doing large patches like this, I'd be willing to bet that there are thousands of macro clients trying to log in at perfectly regular intervals. It might be beneficial to try to track this data (read: grep the logs), then monitor future usag...

Edited by: Raketefrau on 30/11/2009 18:19:37 ROLLBACK. Someone had to say it, now it's out of the way and we can move on. There will also be a good fight for Vale, and if the Tech speculation turns out to be a good bet, then the North's plet...

73. Anyone else getting discoed a lot lately? - in Macintosh [original thread]
It's definitely still happening to me as well, I've been disconnected 3 times in the past hour, which, as was previously mentioned, sucks when you've got drones out. You warp back in like 30km from your drones, and watch helplessly as they get eat...

75. Anyone else getting discoed a lot lately? - in Macintosh [original thread]
Edited by: Raketefrau on 16/11/2009 21:52:03 I got dumped 7 times today, which isn't fun when in a fleet. I'm on Snow Leopard, on an MBP 2.2 with the 8600M GT. I've noticed that if I go idle for more than about 10 minutes, I lose connection...
