5. why are npc pirates always attacking mining drones first - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The tactic is a sound idea. When I go into combat I always attack the drones first. I don't look to see what sort they are I just want the damage that they can cause to stop before it starts. A couple of torps or cruise in there direction usually ...

There seems to be a bug with the standing at the moment. They seem to be reversed so if you think you have a high rating +5 the navy thinks you got a -5 so they show there displeasure. Love lost, fire at will Dum-dum bullets and shoot to kill...
