Good story. Lots of guts and a nice writing style.
Had either of those chaps you attacked had their ships equipped properly (probably owing to a lack of skills) your charge would've been cut shorter. Learn from this experience and you will do better next time.

You should see the weird stuff people fit battleships with, the above isn't even close to being the weirdest I've ever seen, and I haven't seen all that much.

Lovely sory whispere, I admire your writing technique and talent.
Dont care if it really happend or if it's fictional - either way it's a very well written piece. CCP should hire you to write some stories for them...I'm in awe!

Yeah, newer players are often in such a rush to get a battleship they don't train the necessary skills first. My personal favourite was a Scorpion pilot who didn't have missile launcher 5. I still cannot ken how a pure Calidari pilot could go past frigates without training launcher 5. The Dominix pilot SHOULD however be scourged for not trainined Drones 5 (the only reason I can think of for not using Heavy Drones with an indy-sized drone bay). I think I got drones V whilst still in a tier II cruiser...
Oh, and not to forget, great story. I'm totally indifferent to whether it is true or not. It was hilarious, and a nice break from the usual stories of pwning others and claiming no losses :P A sense of humour is a wonderful thing.

lots of tempest pilots use 6 1400mm and 2 heavy missles. that isn't very good right now though. In fact because turrets don't hit as well now slow ass rate of fire turrets really REALLY suck becuase if you miss... better to use 2 rocket bays with defenders, you can punk ravens that way :)
