On cosmos missions you cant tell what damage a NPC does... Ive run into angels firing EM torps instead of explosive.... serpentis firing explosive torps... I have no clue what damage types to tank so I use the claymore tank all damage types and ho...

If your running mission for angels... minmatar ships do really different damage types than anything else ingame... They do all dmg types with emphasis on EM and kinetic/explosive (basically raping your shields, then proceedign to *****your armor)....
