4. New...Looking for a brief rundown - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
We should also say, low-sec is usually more dangerous than 0.0 for some reason. Probably because most pirates gatecamp the high-sec->low-sec gates and pop everyone who comes through (or try at least).

5. Some newbie advice please :) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Shassandra on 01/09/2006 14:59:15 Cormorant is good for mining as well, otherwise you should go for an Osprey also. If both of you load as many miners as you can, and on the launcher spots get some missiles, and then pack some light...

6. Caldari in Minmatar space? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
And if you're a new character without any standings to the Minmatar, you can get their agents as well, so you can run pretty much the same agents as your friends.

7. Best way to duo mine? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If either or both have drones, use those to kill and just stick lasers on your cruisers. 5xlight drones can take out 0.5 rats without any problem. Hell, I've done it with 3xlight drones :)

9. Curious about a mission (human cattle 1 of 5) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'd suggest not taking 5/5 unless you're willing to lose that cruiser. Get used to it before taking that mission, it's really a pain!

10. Curious about a mission (human cattle 1 of 5) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You'll be attacked by 3 towers and some frigs. Destroy the frigs to get access to open the floating can where you get the datachip. The towers give decent bounties, so kill them at own leisure.

12. Gallente Help - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Best miner for Gallente really comes down to a close run of 2 ships. Vexor and Thorax. Difference? Vexor has the bonus to drones, and can field both mining and med combat drones on the side. Thorax has room for an extra laser, can take 5 light dr...

13. Manufacturing - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
It's always a good idea to produce your own ammo. As a mission runner, you just reprocess the loot you won't sell (I sell anytihng worth more than 100K, rest I reprocess) and use the minerals from reprocessing to make the ammo to do even more miss...

14. Gangs and war - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If your corp is not at war, but you join a gang where any single member is in a corp that is at war, you are not allowed to shoot, unless shot at. So if you shoot first you get CONCORDed, but if you let them shoot at you first you can fire away.
