I would say your Geforce is damaged... looks to me like broken V-RAM.... Lines and flickering is a sign for overheatet or damaged V-RAM... the other faults also look like V-RAM issues... the 8800GTS 320 is famous for its V-RAM problems... test ...

You mainly need some more RAM... upgrade ur RAM with 1GB to 1,5GB this will help alot! Running classic client doenst require new GFX cards or Highend CPU¦s... with 1GB or more of RAM u should be able to run the game on 30fps+ your lags are HDD l...

This could be after your card overheats... had this issue myself on my 8800GT... reaching a critical temp. the card produces erros and vista ressets the card... test it with Furmark in Stability test... if u got the same issue there u need to fi...

Dunno if this helps, but i ran Vista x64 with a Radeon 3850 512MB for years with eve never had any problems... replaced them a few days ago with a Radeon 4850 Crossfire Bundle :)

This is only a link to a download Site for a WoW Trial... and Portal is also only a Trial version that comes with the NVdrivers... ATI just startet a campaign to recieve more support in games etc. and Blizzard is one of the partners... Starcraft...

Looks like a V-RAM issue, try to set other Cache settings or Try other Drivers, www.laptopvideo2go.com, got newest versions with modded .inf files.
