121. Give us a way to track active criminals / let players take over the role of Concord (for a large part) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
But for a level playing field the same rules need to apply to bounty hunters in pirate space. I disagree, 0.0 space should remain lawless, like the security status already implies. Seriously though this would take a helluvalot of effort and t...

122. Give us a way to track active criminals / let players take over the role of Concord (for a large part) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Just make the timer continue when people are offline, otherwise they will just empty-cap warp to somewhere in the middle of nowhere and let the clock tick there. I considered this as well. I don't see any way around this, but it does not really...

123. Give us a way to track active criminals / let players take over the role of Concord (for a large part) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Terrapin on 23/07/2003 19:20:31 So if a pirate were to steal some ore, blast the ship, and Pod the pilot. They would get 15 minutes. Plus second offense 1 hour(x2). Plus third offense podding 2hr(x2x2?). No, 15 minutes + 1 hour +...

124. Give us a way to track active criminals / let players take over the role of Concord (for a large part) - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
<cont'd from prev message> So which benefits does this system (or something similar) bring? 1) Pirates can return to (a major part of) empire space. 2) The gate camping is no longer a zero risk combat scenario for the pirates. Gate campin...

(The following is a repost, since an attempt to edit some details left the previous post FUBAR, and I can't be bothered to find it again) I suggested the following in the general forum, and got no responses. So I figured I'd try here, as I still ...

126. Corporate Asset Theft and Corporate Asset ID-Registry - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
How about a 'customs' facility at all stations. You could have certain (valuable) items registered (at a cost) and if these items for some reason 'leave' the corporation it's registered to they'd have a certain chance at being caught by these cust...

127. Differently Abled Solution to the Security Issues - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Hi, Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the security forces get paid by Concord? Paid with resources which they take when people refine their ore at their stations. I think security issues should mainly be handled by people, not by some artificia...

128. Yet another PvP solution - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I suggested the following in the general forum, and got no responses. So I figured I'd try here. I'll try to be as brief as possible, please bear with me. My main gripes with the way PvP is implemented now are that gatecamping is pretty much the ...

129. Space Invaders - Know the truth - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Terrapin, you are absolutely clueless. That's quite a bold statement, considering you do not know me at all. Pirating is the hardest occupation in this game by a LONG shot. It's far more risky than any other occupation Why? You get to choo...

"if nobody is there to report the 'crime' being committed who does the broadcast?" Well, the same nice guy who delivers a new ship and that gratuitous gift of titanium at the nearest station, obviously. "And for the nth time, if you think pir...

131. Space Invaders - Know the truth - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Molly whimpered: "pirates need money too." Imnsho, since you don't run any risk and hardly have to put in any effort , you don't deserve any money at all (let alone 3 mill ISK). I'm not blaming the pirates, I'm blaming CCP. Piracy should be ...

To V'cassLord: 1. I did plan my trip in advance. As I explained in my previous message. 2. Even if I'd brought an escort we'd still have been destroyed, as my corp does not have any cruisers (yet). 3. The 0.3 system where this incident took pla...

I don't know about Tank, but I met one of his 'cohorts' the other day. And he did not tell me to "pay a small sum of money" . In fact he made no demands at all, but immidiately opened fire (his maller vs my merlin). That's not a pirate, nor an as...

I posted about this on the ideas forum, but might as well repeat it here: Just add another container type to the market which, when jettisoned, gives you the option to set a 'lock level'. Three levels would do; 1. unlocked 2. locked at corp level...
