I just want to chime in and support the Linux mob. I only use Windows for a handful of games. I will not be going to Windows 8 or MacOS, so when the time comes that I cannot get security updates for Windows 7, I will be going Linux and abandoning ...

Multiplayer via LAN or Internet would be a fine idea! I would imagine there would be a few other issues that would need some ironing out, but overall it would be an excellent alternative for those that do not wish to pay a monthly fee for a great...
