I would change the past tense in the title to present tense as nothing is ever set in stone within EVE. In other words, never say never ;) Personally though, hunting bears out in NPC null, just haven't found the time to do it yet.

If you offset your ship far enough so that it disappears behind the edge of the screen it will disappear and hence become cloaked.
