Yes probing sux. Don't do it. Its a waste of your time and you will not enjoy it anyway. Try running more missions or mining.

Miners do have a defence. There called Drones. Each Exhumer can use 5. So if you have 4 of your alts in Hulks mining with 5 Drones each out. Thats 20 drones to tear someone apart. T2 Hammerheads work very nice and 20 of them do a LOT of damage. Or...
