1. Odd behavior when podded without clone update - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I have never lost skill points before on the main server, so I figured I'd try it on the test server and see what happens. I had heard that you loose a random lvl 5 skill or something. Anyway, so I got podded and it showed that I had 0 sp, no ski...

2. Cynos, Hotdrops, and Blobbears Oh My. - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Quote: 1 It would take 30 seconds to initiate jump. you could cancel it if you wanted. and the jump action would take another 10sec(grid loading and a time you are unable to cancel). Your cyno frig would never stay alive long enough at a ...

3. Warp landing formations - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
When a fleet jumps to a destination at the same range the result is a train wreck when you land, even if you had a nicely formed fleet before warp. In particularly large fleets with cap ships its even more noticeable because even when you instruct...

4. Cynos, Hotdrops, and Blobbears Oh My. - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Zisi on 13/12/2010 20:29:31 Quote: Cut the range of cynos so you can't teleport half way across the galaxy. Cyno problem fixed. This is not WoW, we don't need teleport. I wouldn't nerf the range, that would cause pretty ser...

5. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Zisi on 13/12/2010 20:02:14 Quote: But don't you think these wormholes are empty of pvers in part because there is no local? No local means its easier to get ganked while pveing and this means fewer pvers. I canĘt agree more w...

6. Lag fixes ? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Are the lag fixes the devs have been working on in Tranq yet? Or is that coming in november? I only ask because that battle in C3N was/is *amazingly* lagged. It's over 10mins lagged as I type this :( Just horrid, I tried restarted the client (big ...

7. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Wow I apparently started quite a thread, guess I should post some more in it. Quote: I should point out that d-scan is useless. There's been dozens of times I've been in an empty system, did a d-scan, and got hits for ships. These ships cou...

8. EVE Online Incursion trailer - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As usual CCP's trailers don't disappoint. How that really would have gone in game: Miner: "local spike, warp to station" Other Miners: "oki doki!" Sansha: "damn, maybe we can get something in the next system...." Admittedly somewhat less epic th...

9. When scanning on the map, make probes "always on top" - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Its a fairly suboptimal interface, scaling your probe layout as well as shift selecting and moving arbitrary numbers of probes would also be nice. Clicking on the text does serve the important task of centering the camera pivot on the probe howev...

10. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
As I illustrated earlier, removing local doesn't just benefit pirates, but rather whoever is paying more attention. Another example of this is traveling, with no local, traveling is generally safer, the traveler is the more alert party in that cas...

11. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]

12. Fix salvaging. This is completely unacceptable! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

13. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Something like the above would take a bit more effort to implement, however the direction I think is a good one. A form of "Tripwire" would be another possibility, it would be like anchoring a warp bubble, however its effect would be to cause an a...

Incorrect, dscan has a number of limitations that local does not. It has a limited range, it does not show character names, it does not show cloaked ships, it requires the pilot to be actively hitting scan to refresh the information, it requires t...

15. The all seeing eye (local) must go - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]

I think it should be there, it's useful when you want to talk / negotiate, or whatever, but it shouldn't be a source of free effortless intel. Nothing else important in the game is that effortless.
