Very useful for Guristas missions where you get jammed constantly, but as mentioned you need to be mobile to make them work. So for me in a Tengu with AB, works great for missions.

Yep, Launcher rigging is the one you want, or you can just use a KTA100, lowers launcher cpu 3%, implant slot 7, on my toon's if I drop launcher rigging to 2 it fits so should be a quick train.

How far are they from the POS? You could try man the POS scram battery to grab them and use the POS missile battery/guns to shoot them. If memory serves when manning POS guns the range is dictated by the ship you in, so don't man the POS guns, etc...

Personally I think you over complicating running ca's in a C3. The Tengu can run its own T2 tank and still do over 500dps with 5 launchers and not have to worry about cap or tank, maalstrom should also be OK if it pulses an XL sb, if not it could ...
