I think it more fun when your drone bay vanishes mid fight and game does not recognize that you even have drones to begin with... CCP needs to do some rebuilding of this game, code and its databases from scratch one day I think.

I bet at most there are ever 10,000 unique players online, rest are alts or bots etc. But that is still more than most MMOs can handle on an entire server or shard while still using instances and not a persistent universe for all.
