1. Constantly freezing up - in Macintosh [original thread]
When the client freeze, you can generally just kill it using "CMD-OPTION-ESC". No need for reebot or ssh. I'm starting to suspect that this is actually not a graphical bug but related to a UI blocking call that fails to complete because of a bug ...

Same here, it just keeps on freezing. It makes the game pretty much unplayable. For some reason, it doesn't seem to happen on my old Macbook but happens very often on my iMac.

If it is really the case, I just find hilarious that after three release where it was announced fixed when it was clearly not, it finally got fixed probably accidentally in an unrelated patch.

11. Game Freezing - in Macintosh [original thread]
It happens a lot with the Mac client I'm afraid I can't help with that. I can help by telling you that you do not have to a hard reset at all to regain control of your machine. Just press on your keyboard: "cmd-option-esc" and select Eve if you ...

Testing ATM, can confirm that the Mail cache error doesn't seem to be there anymore. I'm trying to reproduce the "Discon/Prefs Trash" bugs the same way I reproduced it before. It seems to be stable for now.

I tried it, and it actually works better than the official "port". There is small cosmetic bugs, but the difference in performance is quite impressive. No crashes yet either, let's see how long it will last.

To make multitasking even smoother, do the map thing and then press fn-ctrl-F9 to make the UI disappear. It just kills me that we have to use hacks to make multitasking useable.
