What I read in all the threads relating your silly war is people from your corp trolling and trying to make Mass look bad. Its just smacktalk in forum format.

Well how rude, young man a war is a war, people loose their legs and arms. 
Sometimes they loose their heads.
But when the fighting is done and the corpses have been removed from the battlefield, Soul Cartel and MASS have a jolly good sing a long and natter in local. (Sinjin has a very good voice, and was applauded heartily by all)
So if you still feel its a silly war then Ahmen to you, but for us it is a story we will tell our children and our grand children.

I can see both sides of the arguement here, but i do also feel that this post seems to be about SC's war with Mass and the real topic seems to have been brushed aside (The killing of some innocent). At the end of the day all the 0.0 empires are effectively pirates/PK's/PVPer's. It is very easy for peeps to claim "Well you were in our territory" but at the end of the day. From checking on the map i notice that misaba is still technically empire space so MASS attacking bs's there would seem to be PKing although a kill mail doesnt look deeper into the facts.

The problem with calling targets in a war zone is that it isn't always a cut and dry decision.
Corperations that enter a war zone should be fully prepared, know their enemies and set standings to -10 accordingly. This would negate any guesswork because your pilots only shoot at the orange, yellow or red boxes and leave the white boxes alone.
Where it gets blurred is with the use of alt spies and non war targets being used as markers for gang warps etc. In these instances mistakes and errors of judgement can be made and there isn't an easy solution.
If MASS killed an innocent in a war zone they obviously had a reason be it right or wrong but if it was discovered to be an error of judgement then it would have been far better to apologise, explain why it happened and pay compension.
If that had happened in the first place MASS would have maintained their reputation and their name wouldn't have been dragged through the dirt on these forums.
Station camping, ship jamming, forum spamming, milk drinking, deep thinking, gooner loving, goat hugging, pirate killer............AVE IT LARGE!!!! |
