When the war was declared, I thought fair enough, it is mostly stain who try and mine / research / produce in our small (and it is tiny compared to what stain claim), they've had enough, and now we're gonna have a war. MASS announced this in a fashion as George Bush announced his war on terror, a war on piracy. Now the war starts, blah blah blah, and now what is this? Stain decide to shoot random players, players who have no affiliation with any pirate corps, are in good standings and aren't doing anything wrong. Oodlebang, I'll contact you ingame, (I'm having trouble logging on at the moment) to see how I might be able to help you replace your ship. Although this is not something I would normally do for anyone, I feel in your case that Soul Cartel are the reasoning behind your death for MASS, HOWEVER this does not excuse the outright outrageous behaviour by them - you should be fully re-imbursed by the stain alliance for this act of piracy, and given a full apology. We had members from time to time who turned to pirating, we were most concerned about our image, as we were NOT pirates and these individuals were ejected from the corporation, some were even members of many months. Sounds to me like you were killed for sitting next to some members for a length of time without making your intentions clear and you were taken for a spy, but being a solo player now and having nothing to do with MASS this is just my guess. It also means that when Clarce kept telling me he killed people at a belt mining whilst he was ratting, because it made him nervous he was actually telling the truth. And when certain members of Soul Cartel killed people at gates they was all at, that they was also tellin the truth that they could have been used as warp in points. Waywatcher	Posted - 2004.08.10 05:06:00 - [111] I can see both sides of the arguement here, but i do also feel that this post seems to be about SC's war with Mass and the real topic seems to have been brushed aside (The killing of some innocent). At the end of the day all the 0.0 empires are effectively pirates/PK's/PVPer's. It is very easy for peeps to claim "Well you were in our territory" but at the end of the day. Corperations that enter a war zone should be fully prepared, know their enemies and set standings to -10 accordingly. This would negate any guesswork because your pilots only shoot at the orange, yellow or red boxes and leave the white boxes alone. Where it gets blurred is with the use of alt spies and non war targets being used as markers for gang warps etc. In these instances mistakes and errors of judgement can be made and there isn't an easy solution. If MASS killed an innocent in a war zone they obviously had a reason be it right or wrong but if it was discovered to be an error of judgement then it would have been far better to apologise, explain why it happened and pay compension. If that had happened in the first place MASS would have maintained their reputation and their name wouldn't have been dragged through the dirt on these forums. Station camping, ship jamming, forum spamming, milk drinking, deep thinking, gooner loving, goat hugging, pirate killer............AVE IT LARGE!!!!
