Kachak Genos Occidere	Posted - 2009.02.17 23:23:00 - [1] Greetings.. My name is Kachak (ingame). I perefer not to tell you my IRL name since I do not have enough trust in multiplayer saceship games. I do not want you stalking my kids, to be honest. Anyways, this thought came upon me whil I was making mining of asteroids in X solar system. I thought like sharing it with you all, and maybe some day my dream becomes a reality. What I propose is something similar to the Kyoto Protocol in the real world. It's like something you do not want to accept at first, although you know it will make you become better. You refrain, but when you finally give in, you feel lively fluids rushing up your veins and you feel more alive and you feel good. I have a dream. Let's bury all the weapons in the EvE universe. Yes you heard me. Lets take a brave step and say "No!" to all the violence that is surrounding us. How many ships have you lost? How many ships you've made GF of? Are you yet satisfied? Are you ready to come to terms with yourself, and with humanity in general, are you ready? I have a dream. I propose a "Make love not war" day in the universal sense. Yes, I'm sure you'd argue this is a worn out argument. Yes, I'm sure you will mock me for saying all this, because you are just obeying your social code of tolerance you have been taught since you were in kindergarten. But make no haste. Is that what you really want? Share my dream.. EvE Online Internet Spaceship Game with no guns.. I know its useless to ask CCP to remove all the guns in the game, since they are merely service providers, who have to serve what their customers ask for. This is the bare truth of any commercial enterprise. So instead of asking them, I ask you! Lets make tomorrow a day that will never be forgotten! I need your help here my dear brothers and sisters.. On the 18th of February, year 2009, let us all "trash" all our weaponry, so we leave a better world for our grandchildren. Let us get rid of all destructive modules of war, and let us engage in social works and peace making. 18th of February is the day you retract your corporate wars. Do mot allow any more blood to be spilled. This is the day we make peace, as a community. Hear me, and hear what your heart says. Hear what your grandchildren says. This is your chance to choose the right thing. On the 18th of February, year 2009, lets all trash all of weaponry, and start a new age in the history of EvE. I love you all..

But I am not human kind who gives up too quickly. I insist my line of thinking is provider of better life for the whole community. I do not care if I am singled out in this battel against the violence that is surrounding all of us here and there in this universe. I say, I am trashing all my gun right now. That's right. If you see me on local, and scan me down, you can be perfectly sure that I won't shoot back at you. But then again, you will have to answer when your grandkids ask you why you shot the defenseless space vessel I was flying. You see, this is a moral fight we are taking on now. You better make clear which side you're on. Thank you.

Troll: As creative as this post is, the idea suggested fails so much that I could not laugh... much Nub: The removal of weapons would turn EVE, which is a purposefully cold dark universe into, essentially, hello kitty online. And really what would you DO in EVE once there is no more killing. No guns means no missions, so the only carebear activity would be mining. Trade would go out the window because there would be no demand for anything besides mining modules. Even then mining would be pointless because everyone mines and noone produces anything with those minerals, so you just have a pile of useless rocks. And the fun in EVE, the PVP, would be a moot point. Removal of weapons and war would ruin eve forever. If this is what you want you are playing the wrong game, which in this case Hello Kitty online is .

As for gun ownership, if you think taking guns from the people and giving it to a few groups with the 'check' of the pen alone then you truly are a fool. It may be an oft used (and misused) phrase. But when you outlaw guns then only outlaws will have them. So go on. I dare you; go look up the number of causualties by legally owned guns and estimated prevented crimes and then go look up the number of people killed by food poisoning, preventable disease, household accidents or pretty much anything. At the heart of hearts on the issue, guns really don't kill people. People do. Signatures are annoying...kinda like me.
