Most likely it will be predominately "lego" or "scru", with the occasional outliers calling them "sac"s.
Most people know "sac" is sacrilege.
Personally, I like, "lego"

Look at all those geeks trying to make things more complicated than they are 
Whats wrong with T3 ? It is the same with heavy interdictor being called hictor or hic. If i hear that i allways remember the Mr Hickup cartoons.

SAC is for Sacrilege already.
Other ship classes already mentioned got the first letter for every word (or almost that), so it should be better simply: SC

i like the 'numbered' version, like 32212C
