First off, you do realize that without talking to anyone in person, and asking some seriously probing questions, you can't make a true judgment on their character.
Making blanket statements about people that you don't know, have never met, and will never meet is just a little bit off the sadistic side of things.
According to your statements, you feel that anyone who kills fake things in a video game has serious mental issues. What kind of statement would you make about a person that fights to protect whatever country you're from?(I'll assume the US, because of your superiority complex, and the fact that 97731 looks like your US postal zip)
Would you make the same statement about him, or worse? Maybe not. Would you make your blanket statement about everyone in the military? You prolly would. Would you make those statements to their face?
What about the people in the military that are in a non combat field? They are directly helping the war effort, so they should be just as messed up in your book. What about the people that help make the weapons for war? You know, the people that work at the company contracted by the military to make stuff for them. Do they have serious mental issues?
If not, why not? They help a war effort to kill people. Which is what war is about. Killing people.
Do you realize the only reason you are around right now is because pre-historic humans fought wars against the neanderthals and won? That everything leading up to your birth was brought about by war? Humans at a DEEP level are warring beings. This applies to almost every species of animals. Humans just have bigger brains and have a desire for conquest.
Only VERY recently have humans decided that causing pain to another human was wrong. For thousands of years, had you said any of the comments you made, in context to the era, you prolly would have been hung for it? If you'd made the comments about video games 200 years ago, you'd have been a hieratic.
Emotional trauma would be the kind of kid that abuses animals, cuts their legs off, messes with them, hurts them, etc. Those people end up growing up and doing seriously bad things by our standards. It is possible that SOME people who PVP/play CS/FPS's have emotional issues. But have you considered that maybe these are perfectly normal people that like to get online and have some fun? Blowing stuff up can be fun, and if no one gets hurt, what's the big deal?
I'd also have to say, that anyone that plays eve and only mines, or only makes ships/etc, has the emotional problems. Sitting there doing something that boring can't be good for you. If that's what an "Emotionally Healthy" human is like, I'm VERY happy to be "Emotionally Unhealthy".
