I was strolling down the carebear lane, autopiloting thru high sec, while browsing ze internet.
While approaching the Ashab gate (I'm in Madirmilire, a 0.6 system) I see a guy locking me. Nothing new here, I get locked by ppl all the time, so I go on having fun in the swe channel and fail to see that I'm getting shot at. I think "oh well, let them shoot me, Concord will be here to save me in no time!
But they weren't. I had to wait 3 minutes (2 min, 50 sec to be exact, checked the logs) for them  The gate guns, though, fired at them at once, but gate guns aren't that dangerous if you fit your ship correctly.
All in all they were 3 pilots, all in the same corp, aggroing me.
Now boys! No need for the old "Booo ****ing huuu" or "Can i have your stuff", I'm not ragequitting and I'm not a fan of emowarping. I'm just wondering if Concords always is that slow in 0.6. And I know that high sec isn't in fact all safe and fluffy.
And no, my corp is not in a war atm, and nope, got no kill rights whatsoever.

Yeah, I know High Sec isn't safe, I wrote that myself in the first post.
Just thought that the mighty Concord would come there a bit quicker than 3 min, but I guees that's not the case

Ashab gate in Madirmilire is a common suicide ganker hangout. Best not to autopilot through that system.
Coincidently it is also a rather common failed suicide ganker hangout. The amount of times I've been locked, scanned, fired on, and looted the ganker's wreck before continueing on my way in that system....

They probably stacked concord on other gates before they tryed to gank you. suiciding something small and cheap 20 AU away or w/e so that it delayed them getting to you. Thats our opinion we welcome yours.

3 min does seem long 
perhaps its time to start suicideganking freighters again, I thought people would stop that with the new "fast response concord", but in 3 min a rifter should be halfway through the armor... a 15m loss bs should be able to dish out 1k dps.
Obelisk has 120k hp in hull, and another 22.5k in uselessly tanked armor (and 6k shield or something). so a single battleship should be able to kill an obelisk on its own, at a loss of 15-20m... \o/ Im gonna be rich!. I swear you all to silence!
Oh, and I call "Lame" on Concord

Most people replying seem to have 'forgotten' to actually read the OP and instead are very keen to show the world how amazingly stupid they are.
@OP; I can't believe it would actually take close to 3 minutes, It should take 15ish seconds and then perhaps add a bit to account for the sunday lag but 3 minutes? If it is the truth then you might want to bug report that.

It is kind of sad that with all the changes and new things that come with each expansion CCP haven't done anything to Concord. I think if they wanted to improve the new player experience it might be a good idea to look at why there are delays to empire attacks.
Of course it would never completely get rid of ganking and would keep people on their toes.

I know they changed teh concord response times recently ( in the last year sometime )
1.0 is supposed to be faster that it was, but 0.5 ( and presumably 0.6 ) is quite a bit slower than it was originally. iirc it's scaled by sec status of the system now.
Then again that could've been a dream....
