ok to sum up: New Ammo menu
pretty but not practical
why are ccp wasting time on coding such usless things when they should be trying to fix REAL problems, I feel they are just wasting time.
I will be happy if they do take the time to delete the new code for this menu though.

Sub menues might be good and usefull in stations, but not when flying, and especially not when fighting, it takes longer time, and when mose slips(which it does often), it takes even loger, and that can be crusial, when in a fight..
Change it bach, to the way it was before, worked much better, and yes why change something which workes fine, when there is otherthings, which need more Attension.
/Be save out there.

The only thing i can think for their reason for doing this is a development in shiva that will make use of it, if this is the case, what is it, coz i sure as hell can't figure it out. also why couldn't this just be implemented just before, or even with shiva. --------------------------------------------
Brian: "Do you think i should lose the waistecoat ?"
Tim: "No i think you should burn it, coz if you lose it.....you might find it again!" |

The menu is bad. Please change it back and add hotkeys for reloading turrets as your penance.

What is stupid is that it fails to filter out:
- Duplicate entries
- Crystal types that are already installed
If you are changing crystals in battle then the ones you uninstall don't get restacked (which is also annoying but I guess they treat crystals the same as ammo). Unfortunately that means you get each crystal type listed up to seven times on the menu. Obviously that's pointless. All that is needed is one entry on the menu for each available crystal and don't bother offering the crystal that is currently installed.
I'm sorry but i don't agree, it may suit some people that use just the one type of ammo when fighting (ie blasterthron setups with anti-matter ammo). But i personally use lasers, and i HAVE to take at least two types of crystal, long range - radios or infrareds, short range - multifreqs or ultraviolets.
Duh! Yeah I know that - well done for completely missing the whole point of my post.
I also use different radio crystals during a prolonged battle. I'm sure all beam users do. My point was that at the end of a lengthy battle when I go to switch out the last multi-freq and put my UVs back in the menu shows (or used to, I haven't tried it since the patch):
Multi-frequency [1] Multi-frequency [1] Multi-frequency [1] Multi-frequency [1] Multi-frequency [1] Multi-frequency [1] Ultra-violet [1] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ] X-Ray [1 ]
When all it needs to show is:
Ultraviolet [1] X-Ray [1]
There's no point listing multi-freq at all since that's what's already fitted and why list six or seven of the other two? One UV crystal is as good as any other.
