To start the topic I would just like to say that I have no problem with being flagged for misbehaving, I quite agree with it.
The 15 minute timer guarantee's you either sit at a safespot or look through belts for other players, even though they generally have gotten wise to it and hidden or docked themselves.
Wouldn't it be better to reduce the timer to 5 minutes for sentry and station retaliation, but to increase the flagging time to 30 minutes so anyone can attack you, even if you leave the system.
At least this way, you can leave a system and still be attacked for some time to follow. Thus giving the opposition a chance to muster some troops at a gate in the next system, just as an example.
I'm just trying to think of a way to make it more enjoyable for both party's involved rather than just the general attack and hide for 15 minutes routine.

Ok, after these discussions pls could you make a couple or three changes.
1. reduce sentry timer to 5 mins. 2. extend flagged time to 30 mins or more. 3. give us bad folk modules so we alone can warp to ships on the scanner.

I like your idea's Jabba, those changes would add a bit more depth to the game.
The idea of increasing the timer to a week or month would make it very interesting. Maybe the whole corp should be allowed to attacked that person for the given time.
The above idea could also be put into effect for Ore Thieves, thus killing two birds with one stone!

I am aware that anyone with -5 and below is a target under any circumstance, but for those that are starting a career in piracy or theft it can add a little more amusement to others.
This game is about fun so the more chance you have at getting back at someone the better imo 
|

Me and a colleague were doing a spot of camping in Illanur on saturday, we spent most of the night at a safespot waiting for the damn timer to pass ,while watching lots of ships pass through in local .... we wasted too much time, there was prey to be had
we still managed to light up the map with pod kills nicely

Avon and Frakri good posts.. CCP through time have made pirating extremely hard, thus forcing us into out and out ganking!
People should not complain about death and destruction, they should spend more time concentrating on the local scanners and then work around the possible problem.
You can never judge a character on its DOB any more either as there are so many alts being used for hauling etc. So any shipping is game imo, and new players CEO's and team mates should make them aware of the facts
Pirating is a tuff way to make cash, unless you can go and mine Ark in CA space , they are always very hospitable
