First three clients was playing just fine. But yeah the 4th was damn slow at 55/201 so I restarted it, and the fifth struggled to get past 29/201. I can see why you needed to take it down.

you seem to miss the fact that the extension to todays DT, is due to having to deploy another patch to correct what they messed up on Tuesday. |

So, I Launched the game and noticed that Tranquility was offline.. I thought.. meh maybe the laucher is borked.. so I hit play in the way only an addict can.. to find out that the downtime was extened.
CCP need a UI that shows 'important' news like this before having to launch the actual client.  |

The issue here is that "real" programmers, those who know that they're doing test once test twice test 3 times etc etc before they hand over the final finished product for release.
Who does not test a product before deployment? Only a mickey mouse setup would do such a thing. I don't think CCP is a software version of comedy central but for the love of god CCP you really need to hire a team for QUALITY CONTROL.

Well I'm SO SORRY that you can't be happy with downloading a free expansion from CCP and not having it flawless. You forget a simple rule about code. If it exists, it has bugs.

Well, honestly, that downtime was not caused by Tyrannis expansion, CCP tried to upgrade their servers enmasse and things went horribly wrong. And by upgrade I mean shut everything down, move everything to a new building, set it all up, and then error test it.

It seems to me that CCP has their heads shoved up their airlocks at times. It reminds me of an Alabama girl having the ability to completely degrade you and put you down and still sound like they are giving you a compliment.
