Mostly because i couldn't stop laughing the whole time I was doing it. I'm also a little ticked off that now im trying to mend my ways and be a good honest eve player by selling wormhole locations to mission runners, no one believes me! I mean seriously, I try and sell a fake guardian vexor and I get like 5 people to bite and not a single person calls me out as a scammer, I try and sell a REAL wormhole spot and I get called a scammer in the noob corp channel.. I gave up in the end and jumped though it (it being my first wormhole)and it was very nice (and no ships on scan!) NOT a kublai alt. Honest! Also, I'm never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down.

So its nerved aggain and i like it and no i was never scammed but i am another crying carebar that just dont like the concept of scamming.Its no roleplaying or profession or something, its just using weaknesses of the gameclient in adition to using credulity of not that informed players to get some cheap advantage in the game. So good Job ccp making this as diffucult as possible and at least wiping out the weaknesses in the client that makes it possible to betray other players.

That's true (money part), but one way of getting more customers is to be different then other MMO's. It's a risk, as you can get less then normal but I truly believe that part of EVE's success is that you can do stuff in here which is not allowed in other MMO's. I mean, why play EVE if it's exactly the same as WOW just different graphics? I play EVE cause it's different then WOW. Scamming makes EVE different and for that reason it should not be nerfed.

The minute CCP starts to micromanage, they kill the "sandbox" part that is part of the very essence of EVE. It would go against everything they created. Players already got enough tools to be 'safe' from scamming. Getting scammed is in fact part of the learning experience, to learn how to use proper channels for trading. -

I`m sure that scammers who have talent in what they do will live on, but those who just steal someones ideas and get easy money will just change profession like they should have at very start.

Posted - 2009.03.25 13:02:00 - [50] Personal i hate a good 80% of scammers, not because of they way they make isk but because they take some1 elses scam that worked and work it to death, they have no imagination and more often than not are just as stupid as the person they are scamming. the 20% of scammers left i rase my glass to you all But in respons to the Op, it is getting stupid that ccp keep nerfing the suposidly "bad" careers, not just scamming but across the low sec pirating industry, it's taking hit after hit. id get down on my knees and beg ccp to leave it alone for a bit if i though it would do the damdest thing. instead they just keep listening to the 100's of newbs coming on complaining about the reality of eve, i.e "it's to hard" Fly Safe and Good Hunting.
