If you have some working game mechanical knowledge of why that might have been the issue, I'd love to hear it... I lost one yesterday, after changing my fit I was vollied down to 80-90% shield instead of to 50% I did before when I died. How to fit them correctly for sleepers, figure that out yourself. Also... bigger is not necessarily better for the sleepers.

Was prcticing probing, found a WH, decided why not be nice pop in and yell in local "Anyone stuck" no answers, so i warped to a planet and decided see what probs find (i'm in the ammar prob frig 1mil sp pilot, no guns) 14 hits show up, so i'm happily chasing down a grav site, when I hear the "Beep beepp beep beep" of a target lock.... BOOM! BooM! just as I hit warp to zero, I escape at 70% hull, limp slowly into a shiny wormhole belt, praying to Amaar that no sleepers are there, watching my ship vent gas! Actualy got my bookmark, checked out the belt and made it home, was great fun... I realy thought I was a gonner, been so long since an mporg came close to pve actualy killing my cha or having a cost.. so glad I came back to EVE!!

I'm wanting to be able to tell if it's a wormhole by like, 5% or so..... Or best, would be to be able to filter, like you can filter out cosmic anomaly's. ~Dragon

As for losing Caps, your not doing things right, firstly i wouldn't use a dread, not enough fire power if fitted with BS weapons, even Moros drones would probably go down quickly. As for carriers, i had success with taking my carrier in, not going to give away how i did it. But i was a solo carrier, and i took on 6 BSs 4 frigs and 5 fixed guns, cap and tank never in any danger. Just takes a LONG TIME to kill the sleepers.

I think I can guess at your fit, we're planning on deploying carriers with our fleet and came up with some good ideas for fitting them. It's reassuring to know they can tank that many sleeper ships solo, should be a breeze to keep a fleet supported by a carrier alive. EVE-Tanking.com - Helping you keep your hull in-tact.

Took down several spots with Sleepers, some frigs, some cruisers and some BS. Didn't lose a thing, though the HaC got close to it a few times. All in all was fun.

Other then that, i love it, but...is there any tactic that will work besides massive amounts of remote rep? we took down a stronghold with 5 bs's remote repping, sleepers dont instapwn drones, dont know where you got that from, also...ECM drones work (but draw extra aggro). now..wtf...starship engineering V and cruiser constr. V to build t3 hulls ??? not fun...

Word	Posted - 2009.03.13 22:39:00 - [81] Started from a 0.5 system today lost a Slasher scout 180 km from the sentry, np, then finished off the Perimeter camp with a vagabond. Np tanking the 2 sentries. Like everyone says, the sleepers eat drones like a quick snack. The energy weapons effects look great. Went back to get my salvage frig and cleaned up the wrecks. From reading here, I was lucky the WH didn't collapse, since I didn't have probes, could have lost a nice HAC. I made about 5 mil in an hour or so. Should be better stuff for the risk you take. I want to be LUDICROUS
