Wow, CCP sure have given up a lot to make this "epic" release happen. I sure hope that it's all worth it, and not a complete ^%#$up like it was when EA/OSI sold out. Pressure's on, guys. The whole, um, nation of Iceland is counting on you!

there is a difference between online interactions and in-game content that u would see online or not (if there was a offline version...)

haven't been in gallente space literally in years =D
I do think that the pleasure hub station interior was the coolest by far though and it would be cool to see it reintroduced to the premium graphics at some stage!

Yea i liked it better when eve didn't really have a rating (political correctness) gave the devs a lot more freedom i think, now since they have a box in stores they have to worry about keeping a certain rating Maybe they will add it back for ambulation they should add 1 more for each of the other races while their at it too.

I bought the retail version of the game in 03'. I'm looking at the box and it has an "Teen" ESRB rating on it.
That combined with the fact that looking at the box of WoW (yes I know) has the same rating, but unlike EVE which only lists "Violence" WoW covers "Suggestive Themes" under their "Teen" rating.
So theres definitely something else here at play.
But hey, I agree with Mitnal, a pixel noninteractable girl is inappropriate for teens. Now please excuse me while I undock in my pink ***** shaped spaceship with a cargohold full of prostitutes, exotic dancers, and slaves so I can go inject myself with drugs to make me better at murdering other people.

There are a lot of issues in game that need to be addressed, and frankly this seems to be a very small one. With the improvement (in some areas) of the graphics, some attention could have been paid to the in station graphics as well, and it's totally unnecessary to take away the highways, offices over docking bays, and ads in the stations AND the pleasure hubs.

This game is better with adult content, it got everything else already
I don't want to deal with anyone under age 18 anyway. And lets face is, ALL the kids of age 14+ have seen porn - not just 3D graphic, but the real stuff. So there's no reason to pretend like EVE's protecting anyone's sensibilities.
Make EVE a M-rated game, make EVE cool
and for ****s sake do something about the forum word filter, this isn't Catholic school for girls

I don't really want to bring this up again, but this seems like another stepping stone on CCP's gradual "pussification"/"carebearization" of the game. The older players have brought up this issue many times already, as it becomes more apparent with every patch. It's just sad to see CCP turn back on their original vision. I blame the new devs

I completely agree with everyone here that the current station interiors are drab and boring, the pleasure hub one was the one and only station interior that was any good, and since it has been removed eve has become the lesser game.
Get your arse in gear ccp, create some incredible station interiors, some interiors that show there is actually some life in eve, a world beyond the ships, something that shows there are things happening in these boring stations.
And from what I have seen from ambulation it looked pretty dead and sterile.

To bring a bit of levity to the thread the esrb didnt have anything to do with the perfectly fine original quafe girl getting axed but more a of lack of sufficient resorces to do the extra premium artwork. Maybe we will eventually get her back when ambulation hits?
