I LOVE THIS PATCH
BEST PATCH EVER!
new fitting screen! New Scanning!!! new look!!!
new WORMHOLES OMG!! AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
basicly this game has by this patch become SO MUCH BETTER

I also love the patch, you have done a great job CCP.
Sure there's problems right now but it's bound to happen with the first week of deployment.

Agree 100% with op. Great Stuff in this expansion even if it was marred a bit by the normal patch day blues but even then that hasn't stopped me from having a perfectly good time exploring all the new content. I'm simply staying away from the major hubs filled with all the space lemmings for a few days is all.

Other than the terribad lag (which will be fixed in a day or two)
And the effects which i hate (Probably because i dont know what any of them are)

This is the dark time after an expansion, when nothing really works like it's supposed to. I think CCP did a great job, but until their game works again, I can't blame people for being negative. I've been here long enough to know something similar usually happens after every expansion, so I don't whine about these temporary problems. I don't like it any more then others, but bug reporting issues is all it takes to get CCP to notice them.

I sign this. I tried out a worm hole last night. Was very sweet. Scanning system is now fun and workable for anyone. Fitting screen is new and will take some getting used to but i think looks awesome. Premium looks amazing. Warping is kinda wimpy and not fast. All in all CCP put together (as far as i'm concered) the best MMO on the planet. Keep up the good work, and all the whiners will stop their flame in a few days when the dark days are over. This happens with every patch/expansion. Nothing new.

I would love to give CCP majot props, except several things annoy the crap out of me atm.
I logged off out of frustration last night because every gate I came to delayed my jumping through or gave me traffic control. being blinky, with an active flag in a recon this led to some rather worrying situations. My solution was to stop playing for the night.
Today I continue to have gate jumping lag, I had to reboot once.
My alt s having issues going to trade hubs.
Corpmates are having issues getting out of wormholes as the exits sometimes do not allow the same amount (or lesser amounts) of ships out as they do in that is rather annoying I'll probably by-pass wormholes on that basis alone as I don't want to waste my time looking for a second or third exit.
I'll hold my kudos until after CCP fixes core gameplay again... though I do welcomce the return of Jita whines

I'm with the OP. Great patch, I love it. Sure, the lag's a bit of an issue, but by now no one should expect the time immediately following a patch to be perfect. I think we should all know better by now.
Still, it's been fine for me for the most part and the new features/new look/new cool stuff all around is great. Great job CCP.

Hells yeah, Apocarrrryphyia is awesome.
but with movable probes methinks there will be no more deep safe spots.
found a K-K wormhole yesterday that led from Essence to out near Providence, jumped through and starting poking around when my fleetmate said "uh... the wormhole dissappeared."
i s*** myself. "WHAT!? we're forty jumps from home!"
"just kidding, its still here for another day at least."
CCP, you have given eve the sheer unbridled terror of being forever lost at sea.

yes, the patch is fine and i like the wormhole deal but they have done nothing to change pvp in 00 systems they dam well know we wont a no local in 00 systems.. they dam well know we wont a end to this blob way of gate warfare! they have lots to still do as i see it.. yea, i like the eye candy & what they put out so far but i wont a real 00 combat space and a end to this crap system of choke points and gate locking blob way of playing eve.. i wonted new types of mods/probes & real PRACTICAL things we need in eve..
we didn't just need a new super ship we need the mechanic's of this game worked on more!
if your idea of eve pvp is 30 ships on a choke point gate with 3 wb and every other way of jamming along with it totally locking out a system then flame away..
i for one am sick of 20 ships hunting me as soon as i enter any 00 system these days and it because i cant hide from local..

CCP: You're always going to have whiners and you guys handle them really well. Despite the fact that I am going to have to probably buy a new graphics card here shortly, the fact of the matter is that this expansion is in fact pretty awesome. Lot's of new tools and toys and yes, a learning curve, but we'll learn. No other game comes close to this one. Thanks for the outstanding work, realism, and attention to detail. |

I may find the new scanning too easy, and wormholes too fun, and T3 too BA... ^_^
