By visiting all 5300 systems in known space. Then Prism X went and added another 2500+ systems in the middle of nowhere.
Well, today my conquest begins anew. I've found my first Wormhole system, bookmarked it, marvelled at the hideous number of signatures contained therein, and it's 1am (that's 0100 for you army-types). So. 1 down, 2499 to go. I think there's a reasonable naming convention but I'm bookmarking every one of them anyway. See you all in a year or two.

Pretty sure prism ate 2 systems, so there are actually 2498 wormhole systems. ---------------------------------------------

Assuming I only enter wormholes that lead to unknown space and that each system is equally likely to be entered by a random wormhole I am assured that I should expect to enter 21000 wormholes before I'm done.
I went to J132712 last night. Does anyone know if the naming system is consistent? If I got back there would it still be called that?

I'll screenshot anything that looks interesting. nopt all of it. I found 2 Ladar and a Gravi site last night and they have a bad habit of uncloaking me when I arrive so I didn't stick around to admire their beauty :). No sleepers yet. No idea what they look like or what triggers them. I think I need to take some archaeology gear, or even a Force Recon instead of the old Cheetah. Not yet though. This is still toe-dipping, learning the new probing time.
Anyone got a way I can verify that I've been everywhere when I'm done? Maybe I could offer my BM set to Chribba as a disinterested 3rd party to confirm there are, in fact, 2500 different wormhole systems listed in there.

I believe that the system name stays constant, its just the entrance/exit wormholes that shift.
good luck finding them all!

I wish you luck on your journey, you're gonna need it. If it makes you feel any better, I heard that they only added 2499 new systems to EvE. I'm guessing the 2500th one is off limits to players and used for testing purposes.
Anyway, that means you have one less wormhole system to visit. |

That's a very profitable endeavor you're about to go on.
Profitable because you're sure to find stranded pilots in many of those systems.
Good luck! -------

Assuming this map is correct and the reason the level 7/8/9 arent showing is because you need to enter them through lower level wormholes (and this is what we have found so far) then the only place you can find level 6 wormholes without first going through a level 5 is the delve area

Actually I think 7-9 aren't showing because they are Hi-sec, low-sec and nul-sec. There are only 6 levels of wormhole space. I would love to know how this map was developed. |

Entity constructed it from the cache files provided with the client. Why CCP released this data is anyone's guess, as it the client doesn't actually need it for anything at this point in time. --- 20:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Anyone care to explain how I might go interpreting this map? I gathered that 7/8/9 are high sec/low sec/null sec, respectively, but other than that...
Is a class 1 WH better than a class 6?

Class 1 is the easiest W-space (Unknown space). Class 6 is the hardest (Deadly Unknown space).

Oh. So I take the name of the WH I find in space and check it against this map to see, generally, where it leads?

Good luck
Also I believe (may be wrong on this, not on the team that did w-space) that some of the w-space is only accessible from other W-space. So there is no guarantee that you can get directly to every W-space system from K-space.
Wish you luck, You have completed one herculean task, this is the next :)
