Yes, you're entirely right. You encountered a lot of resistance in DG (the first cluster) and then YOU dropped.

Quote: I remember reading that like 200+ pos were spammed in Delve by the goon NAP train after the spy reset BOB sov. With plenty of pos shooting required in the space goons left behind (plus vacating some goon allies), I'm sure everyone was drooling at the chance to shoot more goon pos in Delve (including BOB).
Yeah how's that clearing Goon POSs going for you o- http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Verite/influence.png

Wait, wait, wait, wasn't that GS who encouraged MC to reset BOB and then drawing brofists and props in locals and caod? O_O And then "we didn't want that traitors anyway!" when MC/Tortuga were left alone to face BOB's rage? And you let youself such "magic self-ownage" trolling? Amazing!

You wanna talk about GSvsAAA conflict in south? No need, rly. It's enough just to check the sov map. Oh wait, my bad, they didn't want that space anyway =( so we lost that conflict actually

Nah, Mittens, I have no illusions regarding MC's destiny. They made their fatal mistake and paid the bill, the way they reacted afterwards caused only some kind of rescept from me personally. Now the page is turned, some of ex-mc members are now by our side and we are proud that such skilled pilots chose us to continue their eve gaming experience. Calling 3A "the new MC" is just another troll*hit from GS, same as it was with "GBC label". We recpect our enemies as well, especially now, when we face top alliances in this "matter of principle" challenge. Everyone, but GS, bcuz the amount of *hit and negative towards us that was poured out to both game and forums just after we reset GS was too overwhelming. I think you will understand that. Anyway, nuff of my forums bla-bla, that's not what I do well about EVE Cya on battlefield and gl hf

Originally by: Therem Harth A couple hours ago a quite epic shootout in 49-U ground to a halt. This is a preliminary report from the point of view of an utility pilot (logistic cruiser) n -A- fleet.
Starting from after DT Sunday, some "superfriends" POSes were exiting reinforced. System was under control and repping carriers have been able to safely complete their duties, despite some POS-4-07 gate-POS maneuvers of PL hac gang which portaled into system early.
After approximately 18-00 enemy activity picked up, cynos lit up across the map as about 8 titans bridged gangs to and fro. Just before the main battle, "superfriends" total fleet counted around 700 and "brosefs" fleet counted around 800. Somewhere around 21-00 "brosef" fleet started entering the system. We estimate that during this time around 700 active pilots entered, including a couple dozen carriers and dreadnoughts, and two titans. A bit later 3 more titans have been reported entering the system.
Initial battles were plagued by very heavy lag, as local spiked to a record 1450 (ppossibly a new record for a nullsec engagement). Module lag reached minutes, and stuff haven't been deactivating even with autorepeat off. Various engagements concentrated at hostile POSes, at which parts of "brosef" fleets were arriving. -A- fleet was delayed at the very first POS by lag and enemy tackling efforts, while GBC subfleet was able to relocate to 2nd POS where enemy caps have been inbound. TCF fleet moved to help capitals, and after a lot of shooting and rewarping -A- fleet joined the fray. RAZOR has successfully used carriers as heavy tacklers, trapping and destroying some unlucky battleships who went too close. However, this was countered by our side warping onto bumped/stray dreads and destroying them. Eventually, most of the active northern fleet was dispersed or forced under the shields.
At the same time hostile titans were staying at yet another POS, two hugging the tower and another two performing suspicious maneuvers outside shield. It was deemed to be a possible trap, and so the effort continued on killing battleships and stray capitals at hand. After some time, capitals started to jump out, battleships started to log, and titans remained at POSes without launching a single doomsday.
An initial estimate of kills says we killed around a hundred battleships and about ten assorted capitals, however killboards are still syncing so it is perhaps too early to say. Same estimate of losses as of now (by -A- killboard, so this doesn't take into account other allied losses, which I am sure will get pointed out by the morning) lists 20 battleship lost, plus about the same amount of varied support ships.
Mad props to everyone for bringing it, the total active battle counts just under 7 hours for me.
Tks for this very nice battlereport. . .

This was not the largest nullsec fight. The last big fight for C9N was about 400 pilots larger. Local never showed it as this node was severly broken but during the petitions for the ghost ships, pods, and towers, GM's answered "sorry, there are 1800 people in this system, there is nothing we can do at this time".
