Just thought of a new thread idea here.
Ill post my top 10 favourite EVE players. If you don't know them or their story - you should. I won't post why they are on my top 10 list, it should be fairly obvious.
I invite others to post their top 10 list with one request .. they should be notable, and not obscure. (Their story should somehow be historically notable with respect to EVE's history)
In no particular order .. or perhaps ..

3. Satan (Of Burn Eden fame)

I agree with your first selection. Though sadly I've still yet to see the (in)famous 'Veldnought' in action. That is still on my EVE To Do list.

I tried to list 10 (though I included 11). I think different people take different things from their perspective of Eve's history. Accordingly, people will have different top 10 lists. Thats why I'm curious to see other peoples.

I'm going to limit my top 10 favourites to eve forum players or the names aren't going to mean much to a lot of you reading.
In no particular order ;
1. Bellum Eternus - Maybe slightly biased to pirates, but I like his thinking.
2. Rawr Cristna - Always makes great points.
3. Akita T - Blowhard, but I'll wade through all her megathreads for interesting reads.
4. Captain Pompous - Because he's pompous and right even when he's wrong.
5. Armoured C - Just because he's around spamming.
6. Tippia - Quirky.
7. Eventy One - Used to have a char in Eventy's corp once upon a time.
8. Le Skunk - Makes me laugh.
9. An Anarchyist - Because he's an *******.
10. Bonhomme Carnaval - Makes me laugh also.

1) Chribba - for the love of all the work he has done for this community
2) All the friends here in SERA.
3) Light Darkness - Member of SERA and Leader of Veritas Immortalis of old times. Very charismatic person. Great Southern War vs RA & Friends until the goon blob came along
4) Seleene & Waagaa - was always fun to play with and make plans (former leadership of MC)
5) Luthien DeMore - Old friend since I started eve. We know us r/l now for a couple years and I look forward to see him at Oktoberfest again. Showed me that there's a way for germans and englishmen to be friends without the historical load usually placed on such things.
6) Meeus69 - Alot of fun in the old times. Mr. Nice Guy ^^
7) Tholarim - For his simple instructions in fleet battles: "Jump in and keeeeel!" :D and the fun had in the past
8-infinite) All the people that crossed my or my guns path in eve. Without you this great game wouldn't be as much fun as it is.

10 is Censored because he hacked into CCP and exposed the bob scandle afaik, and ccp does not take litely to people doing such things (Hacking them, that is)

I cant stop luaghing about this! Y censor **********? really. i read about ********** again today in that weekly blog thing The Mittani does at Ten Ton Hammer. It had some funny stories in it.
sooooo back on topic, i cant believe no one from C&P has come over here yet to talk about Garmon.
btw Tyrrax and that Shogotsu (i know im spelling it wrong) guy would be on my list cuz i read about their assasination thing and thats wut convince me to play EVE.
