First of all i ask the mods to remove any flaming from this post. I also do not represent CA/C4 in any way
i've read though some of the FA and CFS political wranglings on the forums here and what i want to know is two things: 1) if CFS is so fed up with FA, why don't they simply rise up against them. tell them to get the hell out of their space and if they got a problem with that to bring it. FA has enough problems with CA that they prolly won't be able to do much about it. 2) why did u guys allow FA to come in and bully u in the first place.
having said that i respect CFS more than i do most alliances. Not for military or industrial prowess but for the balls to get back up and fight after being knocked about. i have been on many opps where CFS forces have lost several bs but get right back out there and fight. i respect the heart that shows.

We as an alliance are bound to be peace by our charter and very ideals. There is no wish in our government to incite wars. Win or Lose, CFS does not like to fight. We as an alliance (imho) are here to represent a different side of Eve, that you FPS, warrior types don't give nor recieve. A side of Freedom, where all those in Eve wishing to make some isk get a chance.
Thats what we are here for

Freedom huh? A freedom where the guys next door, come in steal all your belongings, claim them, put them back in there spot, then charge you to use them? And ontop of that, them using you to their own ends while your paying someone else to use your own stuff? doesn't sound like "FREEDOM" to me, sounds like a bunch passifist *ussies to scared to do what needs to be done.

Though i see what you are trying to do and commend u for trying. the fact of the matter is that its been tried and fails be cause of larger corps and alliances praying upon a situation like that for their own gains. my corp, zoners, tried that down in TPAR-G. one half of the alliance geared up for combat, the other half cowered in station at the feet of the agressors and talked their way through it. the fighting half lost a bunch of battleships. i was one of the few pilots that went home with mine.
At this time i am an enemy of CFS and i don't see that changing. changing alliances doesn't seem like the answer either, though others may treat u more fairly, it would be the same situation, perhaps better in many ways but still u pay them to use your facilities and resources. because of this 'non combatant' attitude u fall prey to the wolves of the 0.0 world.

Personally.. i have no feelings for CFS other than puzzlement because of the reasons stated by the first poster. im sure many people in the world of EVE would be more than happy to see the CFS grow a pair and tell FA where to shove it. You guys fight CA when you have to, sure you get beaten on more often than not, but you fight. And as Karien said, you keep comming back for more. That deserves respect.
You arent afraid to fight CA, so why be so scared of FA, look at FA for a minute. The same CA that you guys rise up and come out to fight, are pinning those people you darent fight into one solar system.
This is just my own views, not that of CME or CA. But im sure many would agree.
it matters not to me if you guys get blown up or not, but please, stop being such door mats, it is pitiful to witness. If you fight and die at least you fought for it.
P.S. I have several buckets of Wode blue body paint if anyone is needing it.

I'm an outsider, but i've spent my last couple of months in Querious... i think it's safe to say CFS is not an alliance, not to the extent that it can operate independently that is...
CFS relies on others to defend it, most CFS members (or Black Avatar for example, which is acctually an FA member) just don't care for PvP, and let anyone come in, take their stations, gank their haulers, until some other local corps rally a force and drive the hostile forces out... sometimes (and that's a big sometimes) CFS members help, but usually it's the local corps...
now you say: so why don't those local corps found an alliance, or make a settlement with CFS? hmm... good question...

I think these CFS guys are great.
I had the honnor to fight with there CFS navy guys in A2 almost 8-9 months ago.
They/ we where not very skilled pvpÚrs but they tried to keep a2 and surounding systems open.

I mean come on CFS people you fight even odds, outnumbered odds, and even sometimes you manage to get a bigger fleet to yes chase us away. so whats the problem.
To the other point i want to talk about. The player controlled stations in ah the regions of CFS were CFS stations, owned by CFS first. Then comes FA and they took all your stations almost. Then they have the nerve of saying like yesterday what i read about the guy who got shot up by FA saying its there stations whatever.
I think if CFS just one day decided to just say stuff it and declare their freedom from FA i would be so amazed.
This has been in no way the thoughts of the CA or VOTF, these are just my personel thoughts.

I been reading alot of the posts today regarding the alliance wars and in particular the anti-fa posts. Some people moan about fa always send in a fleet that is at least double the size of the oppositon, but hey if fa have enough players to do that, then why cant they. Just means that fa simply have alot more players than the rest of u.
By the way i am not in an alliance corp so dont say im an fa/ca/sa/cfs etc alt. |
